"And how does that help us any?" Fawn asked.
Alsoomse's smirk dropped. "I beg your pardon?"
"She's asking," Lan began, "how this is supposed to help us. We asked for the compass because we knew exactly what it does. This we have no clue about."
Alsoomse nodded. "Of course, of course. Well...Achaana and I, since we're part Free Runner, we can use the magic from this to follow him."
Fawn loosened up and leaned against Isabella. "Oh shit. Never mind on that F. You get a C."
Isabella smiled at Fawn then kissed her cheek.
Lilly raised an eyebrow. "Can you do it by yourself?"
Alsoomse shook her head. "No. Only a full grown Free Runner can do this spell. But the two of us together – we can do it... It'll take us a while to build up the strength, but we still could."
Lan nodded. "Yes. That makes sense..."
"We should all get some rest," Isabella suggested.
"Yes," Anna-Marie agreed with a nod. "We should. Especially me. I feel like I'm going to be sick..."
