Chapter 3: Military Training Was The Time To Foster The Relationship

Once school had started for a week, military training began.

The sky wasn't fully bright yet when the whistle sound rang from downstairs. Mai Ding and Li Ming struggled to climb out of their covers, put on their camouflage uniform along with their sports shoes, wearing a hat then quickly rush downstairs. Due to the separation of genders for the military training, this time, guys from two classes would be teamed together.

Mai Ding went downstairs and immediately saw An Ziyan wearing camouflage uniform and a hat. The outer flap of the cap was just enough to cover a part of his eye. His good-looking face still remained expressionless, which made An Ziyan even more attractive. Mai Ding took the chance of the confusion to stand beside An Ziyan. The instructor blew his whistle, a group of boys who were in the middle of an argument immediately quiet down. With his hands behind him, the instructor was pacing before starting his passionate speech: "Good day to all of you students, from today till the end of the week, I will take charge of training you guys. My name is Liu Rennian. I suppose everyone have known the purpose of this military training, it is to foster the spirit of everyone to push on in times of hardship."

The instructor said a lot of things but Mai Ding didn't even hear a single word as he was busy observing this bisexual An Ziyan. An Ziyan also noticed the staring from his side, he frowned before turning his head to glare at Mai Ding. Not until then did Mai Ding finally retreat his observing look.

"The third row, second one, step to the right." The instructor was talking to Mai Ding since he was a little short but he kept insisting on standing on the taller side, which made it very inconsistent.

Mai Ding raised his hand: "Sir, I would like to stand here."

"Who gave you the permission to stand wherever you want? Stand over there now!" The instructor raised his volume, Mai Ding was unwillingly being separated from An Ziyan, having 5 people in between them.

Military training was a very tiring and boring time. On the first day, they learned how to stand in military posture. It was repeated over and over again with all the turning left, turning right, squatting down and standing up. Under the scorching summer sun, Mai Ding's face was all flushed, the crickets' sound made the originally hot day even more frustrating and irritating.

Furthermore, at every break time, there were girls appearing out of nowhere rushed over to give An Ziyan water or wet napkins. This made Mai Ding's stomach ache and in regards to the cause of the ache, Mai Ding assumed that it was time for SiDaShu (a type of digestive pill for stomachache).

Finally the day had ended and Mai Ding felt like he was about to die. He ran back to his room to take a cold shower and then ran to the school's supermarket to get two bottles of sunscreen before knocking on An Ziyan's door. He is very used to knocking because every time Mai Ding knocks on the door at least 5 times before An Ziyan willopen the door.

"What do you want again?"

Except for Mai Ding, there will almost be no one elsewho will knock on his door.

Mai Ding then stuffed the sunblock into An Ziyan's hands: "This is for you. I boughtan extra bottle and since there is no one using it."

An Ziyan looked at the sunblock in his hands before looking at Mai Ding: "Mai Ding,have you fallen for me?"

His tone and his expression is calm as per normal.Once Mai Ding heard An Ziyan said this, his faced immediately flushed: "Who likesyou? I just want to be friends with you.

This is the first time that there is a bisexualperson around me so I want to know him a little better can't i?" An Ziyan stunned fora short while as this asshole still remembers that incident. He is only joking with him(Mai Ding) but he (Mai Ding) took it seriously. I don't know if he is innocent or anidiot?
