The Mai Ding who had just arrived home could not wait to hide in his room and call An Ziyan.

"How is your head?"

"I waited until your uncle came over before I left."

"My mom is still against it, what do we do? Are these all the tricks you have up your sleeve?"

"What do you know? When you got back home, did you cry and make a ruckus?"

"You guessed it."

"Then within 24 hours or so, she should be able to think things through. When we were in the hospital, her expression had already changed. Plus, you caused more trouble at home. Right now, all we need to do is wait, wait for her to sort out her own thoughts. No mother would be able to bear hurting their child continuously."

"Do you think you're a psychology professor or a fortune-telling master? You're tone is so insincere, as if everything was a part of your plan. Don't tell me the man who knelt in the hospital yesterday was a stuntman you hired. And anyway, how come you knew that I would cry and cause trouble?"

"I would think it's weird if you didn't cry."

"What's that supposed to mean? It's as if you're saying that I like crying, but I was only crying for you."

"I never asked you to cry. From now on, don't cry anymore, it annoys me." An Ziyan was really reluctant to admit his true feelings. It was obvious that he felt upset when Mai Ding cried, yet he still had to reply so unpleasantly.

"That's perfect then, I want to annoy you to death." However, Mai Ding had already been together with An Ziyan for so long, so he knew what kind of a rotten personality An Ziyan had. Mai Ding make funny faces at his phone and then stuck out his tongue. An Ziyan jumped into the room from the window: "If I told you I'd cut off your tongue, would you believe me?"

Mai Ding froze, then rushed to the window and cried crazily: "Why is the ladder still here?" As he thought of the risk of someone climbing up and into his room every night, Mai Ding couldn't help but feel a little creeped out. An Ziyan took off his shirt, threw his phone onto the bed, and went straight to the en suite bathroom. He did not rest well the past few days, he didn't even have a chance to properly wash himself. An Ziyan completely ignored Mai Ding as if he was a transparent person.

Mai Ding stood at the bathroom door and opened it: "This is called trespassing on private property you know? If we were in America, I could shoot you without having to go to jail."

Mai Ding told himself that he should be used to having An Ziyan openly going into his bedroom because that's just the type of person An Ziyan was. But every time An Ziyan suddenly appeared like that, Mai Ding's heart always began to beat so quickly. Although they had been together for so long, he still felt such a strong passion for An Ziyan. Even Mai Ding himself thought that it was inconceivable.

After An Ziyan finished showering, he sat on the bedside while Mai Ding, with a towel in hand, knelt behind him on the bed and helped him dry his hair: "Do you really think my mom will agree?"

"Yeah."

"What do we do if she doesn't?"

"Then we'll have to come up with a new strategy."
