It was an early Sunday morning, but Mai Ding wouldn't let An Ziyan sleep in. He rolled around and made trouble in bed, and constantly asking An Ziyan to get up and stalk Mai Ding's father with him.

This all started yesterday when Mai Ding returned home and heard his mother sigh and say: "Who knows what your dad is up to these days? He always sneaking around, leaving home early, and coming back late. When I asked him about it, he didn't say anything."

"He can't be having an affair, right?" Mai Ding joked.

Mai Ding's mother glared at Mai Ding: "Shut your mouth."

"I'm just joking. Don't worry, maybe he just has something to do and doesn't want you to worry. You can't possibly be worried over someone like my dad. I mean, you guys have been together for so many years now and he's never done anything bad to you."

Mai Ding's words lifted his mother's spirits a bit. After eating his fill, Mai Ding got ready to go back home to An Ziyan as it was already nighttime. The road back home was familiar so Mai Ding wasn't in a rush, he walked at a leisurely pace. Suddenly, he saw two men sitting on the wooden stools in the park. With ease, Mai Ding recognized that one of the men was his father. Mai Ding was so, incredibly surprised, he just couldn't accept it. He began to have random thoughts, why did his dad not go home so late at night and was at the park with a man instead? It couldn't be...? His dad wasn't affected by watching him and An Ziyan could he? How could he when he has a family? Mai Ding didn't dare to keep watching so he ran home, kicked the door open, and looked at An Ziyan as if the world was ending: "An Ziyan, it's over, it's over, I inherited it from my dad."

"What are you talking about?"

"You'll never guess what I saw just now. If I told you, you probably won't even believe me."

"Your dad was doing your mom?"

Mai Ding shook his head: "My dad was with another man." Mai Ding grabbed his own hair and uncontrollably paced in front of An Ziyan: "It's over, everything just got so much worse. How am I supposed to tell my mom? How do I face my dad? An Ziyan, what should I do?"

An Ziyan didn't take Mai Ding's words seriously: "Who told you that two men hanging out meant that they were in that kind of a relationship?"

"What else could it be? Only an innocent person would think that they're just friends."

"Then I guess you're just not innocent at all."

"I can't leave it like this, I have to figure everything out. Come with me tomorrow, we're going to stalk him."

"Nonsense."

"This is about our family, how is it nonsense?"

"Well either way, I'm not going to accompany you to do such a ridiculous thing."

Because of this, Mai Ding didn't stop causing trouble all morning long, he had to have An Ziyan come along with him. If An Ziyan didn't agree, then he wouldn't let An Ziyan sleep. Finally, An Ziyan gave in, and very reluctantly followed Mai Ding out the house. The two of them first hid behind a bush near Mai Ding's parent's house. Mai Ding squatted on the ground while watching the movements insides in the house. When he turned his head, he saw An Ziyan was standing up straight so he pulled An Ziyan down: "I told you we're hiding! If you stand up like that, we're going to be seen!"

"Fuck that."

At that moment, Mai Ding's father came out with a shopping bag in hand. He whistled a tune, his mood cheerful, and he strolled slowly to the supermarket instead of riding his bike. Mai Ding dragged An Ziyan as they followed carefully behind him. As they walked, Mai Ding explained to An Ziyan: "Usually on Sundays, my dad helps my mom buy groceries from the supermarket."
