The street lights went out. Mai Ding looked up: was it a power outage? It was so dark that he could see his hands if he stretched them in front of him. Now, Mai Ding finally felt terror. He took out his cellphone to use it as a flashlight, but the light was only enough to illuminate a small area in front of him. The only feeling Mai Ding had was a slight numbness in his scalp. From the bar, there were two roads: one went back to the wedding venue and the other was the one he was on, a road that was completely unfamiliar. However, Mai Ding didn't want to go back to the venue, so he chose this road instead. Now, Mai Ding had no idea where he was, but soon, he laughed at himself again. After leaving An Ziyan, everything pretty much became meaningless. When he thought about the scene he had seen not long ago, Mai Ding's heart felt as if it was being rubbed painfully.

Mai Ding asked himself: will you really forgive An Ziyan? Maybe he didn't do it on purpose. But even if he forgave him, the wound in his heart will never truly heal. Mai Ding can't do it. Really, there's no way.

When Mai Ding struggled with these painful thoughts, he suddenly heard the sound of heavy breathing, which came from somewhere behind him. Mai Ding thought it was it the cold that made him get goosebumps. He turned around, raised his phone, and timidly asked: "Who, who's there?"

In that empty space, no one answered, but the breathing continued. Mai Ding was too afraid to move forward anymore and instead, he quietly listened to his surroundings. His hand which held his cellphone was still shaking. Because it was so late at night, there wasn't a single car out on the road. It was also a resort area, unlike the busy city streets.

The footsteps that followed made Mai Ding feel even more scared. He turned around and started to run, but the footsteps behind him also began to run as well. Mai Ding wanted to scream, but all he did was helplessly run for his life. There was no way he had the energy to even try and scream. After a while, Mai Ding slowed down as his strength ran out and was rushed by the person behind him. Mai Ding finally screamed, but his mouth was quickly covered by a pair of big hands. His phone dropped to the ground beside him and by the light from the screen, he saw the man's face. Mai Ding's pupils dilated as he clearly saw the face of the bald, fierce man from earlier with the dragon tattoo. The man looked even stronger and scarier in real life than on TV. Mai Ding's entire body was tense as it trembled uncontrollably. The man leaned over and whispered by Mai Ding's ear: "Relax, my things will make you happy."

Mai Ding shook his head desperately as he listened to these words. He thought of An Ziyan and all of the good times they spent together. Now, Mai Ding became distraught: reality doesn't have coincidences like they do in TV shows. He wanted An Ziyan to come save him, but in this darkness, who would see him and help him? Reality is just this cruel. Mai Ding would rather die than to be defiled by this man. Suddenly, Mai Ding wanted to laugh. He had always wanted to live an exciting life, but when it became too much, he couldn't handle it at all.

An Ziyan, where are you? Why did you do such a thing? Even now, when I'm about to die, I'm still thinking of you.

"What are you thinking about?" The man saw that Mai Ding's mind was elsewhere.

Mai Ding closed his eyes, ignoring the man's words.

"You don't want to see what I have?" The man chuckled.

Mai Ding felt disgusted and his stomach churned. Around them, it was eerily quiet. Helplessly, his mouth was covered by the man and he could feel the man's breath on his face. Mai Ding was only able to kick with his legs, but was soon restrained by the man.
