Chapter 41

"Your deposit will be in your bank account each week." He let go off my hand and headed to door. I stood and went into the restaurant.

I saw Avonlee sitting at the table coloring with Heavenly smiling from ear to ear.

"She finally has someone to be with other than me. She can finally have a life now." He said warming my heart up.

This is going to be a long journey but I guess it'll pay of in the long run. I walked back over to my table and sat down next to August. I held his arm and smiled at the all enjoying each other's presence.

< 4 weeks later >

"Are you sure you wanna try this, August? You know what happened the last time we went on vacation." I said not trying to make him think about the times before.

"Yea I'm sure. I need a break from all this money spending." He said looking down at me as we stood in the closet.

"Alright, I'll call Carlos to come and then we can go."

"Aight." He sighed then sat upon the bed cuddled up in the covers.

I could tell he really didn't want to leave anyone in as much of the trouble there is here with everything going on and I mean I don't blame him though. I went and started my call with Carlos. He headed over right away and helped out with the kids.

"August, come pack so we can go to the airport!"

He arose from the bed and came over to me with his arms withdrawn from his body. I looked at him as he wrapped his arms around my waist and picked me up.

"I'm going to not need you to be so stuck up your not my momma." He laughed and swung me around.

"I'm not stuck like peanut butter, baby." I said while laughing and gripping his arm.

He put me down into the closet and sat upon the floor. "Pack whatever man I don't give a shit."

I started to pack whatever folding it up nicely and passing it to him. We soon finished packing and I heard the door open and a loud voice go off.

"YN!! AUGUST!!! WHO IS THIS LIL GIRL?!" I heard Nicki loud ass say from down stairs. I walked out of the room to see her and Meek standing looking at Avonlee.

"Hey big booty!!" Meek waved and laughed.

"I know damn well you ain't talking from what you have." I rolled my eyes and walked downstairs and hugged Nicki.

"I'm Avonlee. She stood up and looked up at them.

"She could be an angel. She's so precious!" Nicki spat at picking her up.

"Hi TT." Heavenly said passing by her waving.

"Okay well me and August are done packing Carlos and we are about to leave. There's food and money on the counter. Don't be having no smoking ass people around my kids! I don't mind Kathy comes over. But that's all. You know everything else."

Carlos nodded and finished watching basketball. I spotted August coming down the stairs with our suitcases and stuff. I saw James behind him carrying my makeup back and August's pair of shoes. I laughed at the site of them. They finally reached us and looked around.

"What's funny?" James questioned me handing me my makeup bag.

I shook my head nothing. And continued on.

We had our final good byes and went off onto the airplane runway. I walked down and checked in and made my way to an seat. Nicki sat in the seat next to me super excited.
