Melody's secret - Chapter 22

Melody's pov

It is christmas on sunday. I'm really excited. 2 days!

Today is our last day of school. We are watching home alone. I have seen it before and it is good. I wonder whether Maspar will like it. He will probably copy what the kid does.

I was right there. When I got in from school, I went straight to our bedroom. As I tried to walk in the door, a rope tripped me over.

"Gotya!" Maspar yelled. I slapped him across the face. "Woah, I' trying to have fun.

"Yea, well it's not very funny!" I shot him a glare and ran upstairs. Jacob was crawling around on the floor. For a 8 month old baby he is doing great!

I sat playing with Jacob until Mapsar came upstairs. I turned my back on him and went outside. 

"Melody." I heard him call. I didn't listen. I climbed over the wall and ran across the road. I knew where I was going.

I turned up at the house and knocked on the door. A boy opened it.

"Come on in Melody!"

Maspar's pov

I sat waiting for Melody to come back. She didn't. I suddenly got worried. What if she was lost? We had been at the house for nearly a year but it is possible to get lost. 

later on that night, when dad and Gemma were asleep, I got out of my bed and started pulling my clothes on. "What are you doing?" I heard the hiss from the corner.

"Macarius, go to sleep. I'm going to find Melody." I climbed up the stairs and out of the front door. I would find my sister!

Melody's pov

Kian led me into his bedroom where we sat down on his bed. "So why are you here?"

"Maspar was annoying me."

"This close to christmas?" He sounded amused. I smiled and continued.

"I just decided to come here.  You always are here for me, more than my brothers."

"I care about you Melody." He told me, holding me close. 

I fell asleep in kian's arms. Life is great.
