In the hospital - Chapter 5

Macarius' pov

Why was I so stupid. My brother had been really upset and tried to hang himself. I was an idiot.

We untied him and he collapsed on the floor, unconscious. The ambulance came soon after and we had to drag him out of the cupboard and up the stairs.

At the hospital I watched through the window with Melody as they did cpr to my brother. I was crying. I had called him a twat, thought I hated him. Now he was dieing and I felt useless.

Melody's pov

A nurse came over to us when Macarius started crying. I had my arm around him and we were singing an old song from our family;

When the hummingbird loses its hum

Or the lion can't go on

you have to be grateful for who you are

when the best of friends break up

and they don't even want to get up

you have to be grateful for who you are.

The nurse listened to our song before fully coming over to us."Are you two twins?"

I shook my head. "No we are triplets. Our brother has tried to hang himself.

The lady looked at me. "Are you the oldest?" I shook my head. "what's your names?"

"I'm Melody Emily Lee, this is Macarius Nico Lee and in there," I gestured towards the hospital ward, "is Maspar Gregory Lee."

The nurse smiled at me and gave me a reassuring glance. "I think your brother will be fine."

I hoped so too.
