Just the way you are - Chapter 90

Melody's POV

I woke up singing one of the songs from the recording studio until I stopped dead. I was getting married!

"Come on sleepyhead, time to get up." Gemma laughed, pulling me out of bed. I reached up and hugged her, tears starting to slowly make their way down my face. "Oh sweetie, what's wrong?"

"I'm just so happy." I sniffed. Gemma laughed and hugged me even more.

"I bet this will be a day you remember forever."

I got changed into my wedding dress and shoes. They were tall heels but I was perfectly able to walk in them.

Poppy came running in in jarmas, lilic dress in her arms. "Mum can I get ready? Can I?"

"Yes Pops." I helped her into the dress and smiled. "You look so pretty Poppy. Just one thing." I grabbed a brush and started to style her hair. Gemma will do Ollies but I will do my daughters. "There, beautiful." I smiled.

Kian's POV

Maspar woke me up super early this morning. He came in my room with a fog horn and blew it in my ear.

"MASPAR!" I screeched, jumping out of bed.

"Sorry. I need to have some fun on this traumatic day." He put his hand on his head. "Oh, my sister is getting married."

I started laughing. "Come on then Masp, lets get ready."

Soon we were in out suits and I grabbed Jay and put him in his. Since Melody had Noah and Logan I didn't have to worry about them.

"Where's Jake?" Maspar asked, looking at me.

"No idea."

"I'm here!" He called, running downstairs. His hair was (for once) neatly combed and he was wearing his shirt and black trousers. "Maspar, can you do my tie. I don't want to hang myself."

Maspar froze. Then he put on a fake grin. "Sorry kiddo I need to go put some aftershave on. Let Kian do it." And he ran away.

"What did I do?" Jake whispered. I shrugged at him and fixed his tie. Then I went to find Maspar.

"Mate?" I called, knocking on their door. Macarius answered. "Is Maspar in there?"

"Yeah, come in." He stepped aside and I walked in to find Maspar sitting on his bed, face white.

"Maspar?" I sat down next to him. "What is it mate?" I noticed the tears starting to fall down his face.

"Masp, shall I tell him?" Macarius asked his brother.

"No, I can do it." Maspar stood up and walked to their wardrobe. "Kian."

I followed him and sat on the floor beside him. "Kian, when we first moved here and I found out that Jake was going to be born, well-" Tears came down his face. "Just push this rock. You'll figure it out."

I pushed the rock and it fell into a small hollow space. I guess it used to be big for them when we were younger. There was a scarf on the floor and on the wall, above the rock there was 'i'm sorry' etched into the stone.

"I tried to kill myself Kian." Maspar whispered. "I was planning on leaving my family over finding out that Gemma was pregnant."

I sat on the floor with my best friend, my best man, my brother. We sat there for a while.

Melody's POV

"Melody, we need you here a second!" Gemma yelled.

I went walking into the other room and found Logan and Noah standing there. Gemma looked at me.

"I don't know what else they need." I smiled at her.

"Here." I picked up two white lilies and slotted one in each of the boys' suits. They looked up at me.

"Thank you." I laughed and ruffled their hair.

"Right so when the music plays Noah, Logan, you will walk down the aisle with your petals. Scatter them equally mind you." Gemma instructued. "Then Jayden and Poppy, Jacob and Ollie will walk down in front of you Melody. Then I will walk behind you. Got it?"

We all shouted "Got it!"

Kian's POV

I sat in the makeshift front alter with Maspar. He looked at me.

"Ready for the best day of your life?"

"As ready as I could ever be."

People were filing into the church and sitting down in rows behind us. Macarius was behind me in the next alter. Since I don't have family we decided on people can sit anywhere.

Maspar nudged me and I heard the pruest say "Please stand for the bride."

Melody's POV

"Please stand for the bride."

The flower boys had already just made their way down the aisle with their petals and this place was beautiful.

"Ready Mel?" Jake said, turning around. I nodded and the music started to play, Bruno Mars' just the way you are.

Poppy and Jayden held hands and started to slowly walk down the aisle, Jake and Ollie following.

I followed the last two down the aisle, dad holding my arm. Everyone was standing and looking backwards at me. It was amazing. Macarius was filming it all.

Then I saw Kian. He was standing with Maspar at the front, smiling. I walked slowly with dad and we finially got to the front. Jake took Jayden one way to sit where Kian and Maspar had been and Ollie did the same with Poppy but the other side of the aisle.

I stood next to dad, looking at Kian. "Who is to give the bride away?"

"I am." Dad said, looking at me. He kissed me on the head and went to sit down next to Poppy and Ollie.

"You may all sit." The priest said and Maspar left Kian's side. "On this wonderous day, Kian and Melody are getting married."

Kian's POV

I faced Melody.

"I Kian Jackson Liams." The priest whispered.

"I Kian Jackson Liams."

"Do take Melody Emily Lee to be my wife."

"Do take Melody Emily Lee to be my wife." I smiled at Melody.

"Now you." The priest whispered to Melody. "I Melody Emily Lee."

"I Melody Emily Lee.:

"Do take Kian Jackson Liams to be my husband."

"Do take Kian Jackson Liams to be my husband."

Maspar's POV

At one point I was daydreaming and when the others started to laugh, I looked up.

"May we have the rings?" The priest laughed.

I jumped up and gave the rings to the priest. And sat down.

"With this ring." Kian started. "I promise to love, care and cherish you for eternity until death do us part." He put the ring on Mel's finger.

"With this ring." Melody whispered but we could all hear. "I promise to love, care and cherish you for eternity until death do us part." She put the ring on Kian's finger.

"Will the friends and family of these two promise to help, care and love them until death?" The priest asked.

"With god's help, we will." We all chanted.

"Then, with no further questions, I now pronounce you husband and wife."

We all stood up and cheered. Kian grabbed Melody and kissed her.
