Maspar's pov

We walked in the front door. Well, we couldn't because there was already 7 kids and a buggy in the doorway.

"What's going on?" KIan asked. He saw the bloody knife on the floor. "Is anyone hurt?" He walked to the buggy and took the twins out.

"Kian, over here." Melody called for him across the room. Kian walked past me and toward Melody. It was only then I saw the dead man. Gemma stood over beside dad, who had a open slash down his arm and face.

"What happened?" I asked. KIan was looking at me. No, at Jake. He was crying. "What's wrong Jake?"

"M, My daddy dead." I was shocked. He thought dad was dead.

"He's over there. Alive." I pointed at dad and Jacob cried harder.

"No, there." He pointed at the body. I understood. One look at Gemma and that was all I needed to know. He had my hair style, same eyes, everything. The problem was he wasn't my brother.

"When did this happen?" Dad's voice was full of hatred. Gemma started to cry. What a stupid question dad, four years ago when we found out Gemma was pregnant.

"I,It was the week before you guys moved in." SHe cried. "Graham walked in and, and..." She couldn't finish her sentence because of more tears coming down her face. Dad, looking tired and angry, passed out.

"Dad!" Most of us screamed, apart from a few "Caspar!".

Three hours later.............

I sat back. Waiting. Waiting for any more news.

"Jake, want something to eat?" The little boy made no acknowledgment to his best friend. Poor kid's not eating. WE all are, just not poor Jakey. I nearly hung myself for nothing. Not for nothing, A voice in my head said. To prove your family care.

"Gemma Lee?" A nurse walked out. Gemma basically jumped out of the seat.

"Yes?"

"Your husband wants to see you." Gemma ran after the nurse while us kids stayed with Holly and Joe, who had just gotten here.

Gemma came back. "He's going to be fine." Then she burst into tears.

"Gemma, what's wrong?"

"Caspar's, I mean your dad's still mad at me."

"No, at me." Jake said. We all looked at him. The three year old shed some tears. "Since I was born I didn't feel like I belonged with 'dad'. It didn't feel right. When the man came and said he was my dad, it felt right."

"Gemma, I think that this is fake." I said. "What did that guy do to make you say that?"

Gemma cried. "He threatened to kill you all."

"So Jake is my brother?" My response was a nod. "I'm going to see dad, come on Jake."
