Girl - Chapter 84

Maspar's pov

They'd took away Melody. I think they thought she would upset the twins. Now they were both sitting on my knee, looking shattered. They had dark rings under their eyes because they hadn't slept.

"What?" I heard. Jayden sat up properly.

"Daddy!" He yelled, running at his dad. Kian picked him up and sat him on the bed. Jay hugged his dad and started to cry. "I want mum."

"I know you do little guy." Kian smiled. He was upset, we all were. 

Kian's POV

I sat hugging my little boy, hoping for the world that she was going to be okay. Melody. I had the best thing planned. My hand wandered to my pocket, clinging to the box I had managed to grab for only a couple hundred euros. Holding the proper treasure inside.

"You alright mate?" Maspar asked, leaning over to me. I shook my head. "What is it?"

"You'll kill me if you knew." I smiled. Maspar laughed and nudged me. 

"Come on. It can't be bad." He grabbed my arm and pulled it out of my pocket, bringing the box with it. "Oh, Kian." He whispered. Tears formed in his eyes as he looked over at me. "You were going to, to-"

"Yes, while we were still in spain." I mumbled. 

"I'm sorry."

"No, I am." If I hadn't got mad, ran off, she would have been alright. Jake would trust me and I could be part of the family."

"You are part of the family." Maspar put his arm around me. "You've been a brother to me since we met. Even when I-"

"Punched me in the face and got me in hospital, tried to kill me when Mel was pregnant, it goes on and on mate." I laughed. 

Caspar walsed in with Gemma. "She's okay, Mel's okay!" He yelled.

I jumped up with Jay still on my knee and ran through the door to the ward.

Melody's POV

Kian burst through the doors with Jayden. "MEL!" He ran up to me. "You're alright."

"Just fine, now you've came through." I smiled and kissed him.

"Girl." I mumbled. Kian stepped backwards. 

"What?"

"Girl." I grinned more than I had ever done before. Jayden sat on the bed looking at us. 

"What?"

"Girl." We said together.

"Mum's having a girl."
