Gemma finds out - Chapter 49

Maspar's pov

Melody has been acting strange over the last two weeks. I'm worried. She basically hangs out with the little kids. She has also started sleeping in our room most nights.

Apparently Jacob had my worries.

"Is Melody okay?" He asked me.

"I don't know Jake. Do you want to ask her?" He nodded. "Go on then." He ran out of my room.

Melody's pov

I took a pregnancy test. I am pregnant. My kid won't know their dad because Kian will probably be murdered my dad or maspar before it's born.

Jacob came running in. "Melody."

"What's up Jake?" I picked up my brother.

"What's up with you?" I knew he could tell something is wrong.

"I.I just have a sore tummy." I said truthfully.

"Me get daddy?"

"No." He did anyway.

"Melody, you have a sore stomach?" Dad said, walking in.

"No. I said that so Jake would go away."

Dad sat on the bed. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I got up and walked out. I went and sat in the garden. It might be the start of January but I need to cool down.

Gemma came and found me. "I think I know what's wrong."

"What."

"I mean I know your secret. How long have you known?" I knew what she meant now.

"About two days. I suspected for two weeks.

"Does Kian know?"

"Yeah." I sighed and buried my head in my hands. "I don't know what to do."

"Tell you what. I'll take you to the hospital and then you can come back and tell everyone." I just nodded. I didn't care anymore.
