Jake's birthday and arguments - Chapter 54

Maspar's pov

I woke up the next day to one of the kids crying. Uggh. I know Melody's going to have a baby and it will be my niece or nephew but I can't stand the crying.

I got up and walked into the nursery. Melody was sitting in the chair rocking Noah.

"Shhh." She whispered. "I've got you."

"Melody, you should be in bed." She jumped when she heard me. Melody looked at me and smiled.

"No, it's Jake's birthday. And you have school."I groaned.  

"Do I have to go?" 

"Yes!" She laughed.

When I was ready for school I went upstairs. On the table there were PANCAKES!! I love pancakes. I sat down and realized that Jacob was at the table too.

"Happy birthday Jake." 

"Thanks." He grinned. I smiled, he doesn't know what Gemma and dad got for him.

Melody's pov

I got changed and went back into Kian's room. He was flat out asleep. I giggled, he looked stupid. 

"Wake up." I whispered, leaning over him. He just turned over. That was it.

I ran into the bathroom and filled a cup with ice cold water. Tiptoeing back to the room, I leaned over him and poured the water down.

"AHH!" Kian shrieked, jumping out of bed. He shot me a glare and ran into the bathroom. When he came back out he was dressed and ready for school. 

"I hate you." He growled.

"No you don't." I sang. "I'm having your kid." That made him smile. Kian hugged me and we both went upstairs for breakfast.

1 hour later......

"A phone!" Jacob yelled. He had just unwrapped a birthday present. I'm guessing he likes it

When all the presents were done, I went and stood beside the door with Jake. It was time to say goodbye.

"By Maspar." Jake said. Maspar ruffled his hair. I ruffled Maspar's.

"Bye Macarius." I hugged my brother.

"Bye Kian." I gave y boyfriend a kiss and the three of them left.

"Can we go to the park?" Jacob asked. I was helping with the feeding the triplets and had Noah in my arms but Jake was pestering me about going to the park.

"In a bit Jake." He was bugging me a bit.

"Please now?" He begged.

"NO!" I yelled at him. Noah started to cry and I turned on Jake. "LOOK WHAT YOU DID! Noah was going to sleep and now you've woke him up! Why are you such a pest!" I rocked Noah even though I could see the tears falling down Jacob's face.

"Why did you ever come with our dad! I wish you would go away! I HATE YOU!" With that he ran out crying.

I rocked Noah and soon he fell asleep.

I thought about Jacob crying, and I cried too.
