Going to Gemma's - Chapter 3

Macarius' pov

We pulled up outside of Gemma's house and got out of the car. Gemma was waiting for us.

"Gemma!" I yelled, running over to my basically step mum. She hugged me and then turned to Melody who was beside me.

"Melody!" They hugged and she turned to my brother.

"Hi Maspar." She said warily. The last time they saw each other was two weeks ago, when Maspar walked in on them kissing. He had screamed at them and then stormed off to the park to be alone. I knew she would be scared.

Maspar did something surprising. He grabbed Gemma and pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry about the other week. I behaved bad. Thank you for letting me stay here still."

"Maspar, I can't not like you. You were a bit of a nuisance and you probably will get mad at me....soon....but let's not think about that now. Let's get you guys sorted.

Melody's pov

I couldn't believe that Maspar apologised. I walked up to him and put my arm around him. "You did good, Maspar."

"Thanks Melody." He smiled. I hugged him and Macarius came over as well and we all hugged. 

Maspar's pov

I was pleased that I apologised. I think I would've regretted it otherwise.  As long as they don't turn around and say that they are getting married or something. I think that should wait a bit.

Melody, me and Macarius ran to our bedroom. We share but it is great fun. Gemma lives in a big house on a hill and our room is about the size of the average play park. We painted it blue and red because they are our favorite colours.

I sat down on my bed and turned on the tv. My other two siblings sat on their beds and we watched some kids tv.

Macarius' pov

I heard squealing from upstairs and the sound of dad probably giving Gemma a kiss. I hope Maspar doesn't notice, the two of them will never see each other again. 

"Kids! Come up here!" I heard dad yell. We went up to the kitchen and I was really surprised!

Maspar's pov

We walked into the kitchen and I couldn't believe my eyes. Gemma was standing there, with a new ring on her finger.

"We're engaged!" Dad told us. "And I found out that Gemma is pregnant."

I felt every hope in my body fall. I wasn't mad, just sad. I ran off and hid. I knew they would think I was in a rage and wouldn't com for me.

I hated myself. Why did I feel this way? I should be happy for them. I hate myself.

Macarius' pov

I watched as my brother ran off. He's in another rage. I can't believe that Gemma is pregnant though. Why now, when Maspar is calming down. I hate my brother when he is mad. I hate him now. He is one of the worst bothers in the world.

Melody's pov

I saw the tears on Maspar's face as he ran off. He was upset, not mad. I knew where he was going. We had hid there before.
