Show night and missing kids - Chapter 81

Melody's pov

We were sitting by the pool a week later watching Maspar playing water polo. It was actually a really fun game to watch apart from the fact that Sammy and Jake wanted to play, when they couldn't and Poppy and Jayden were wriggling to get down. This is kind of impossible to control with two of them so I gave in.

"Kian, I'm  taking them to the small pool." I picked up the twins and led the boys by the hands.We were all in our swimming stuff so we didn't have to worry about that. I just sat in the water while all the little kids splashed around. It was really cute because the kids played with each other, not mattering about the age groups. 

We walked back to the bigger pool and the game had ended. Maspar looked happy.

"My team won! I have to be at the Mollie disco because afterwards I'm going to get a certificate!" I smiled and patted my brother on the back. Macarius had joined us by the pool and an entertainer walked over to us.

"Excuse me, would you like to be in tonight's show?" I was confused but Maspar was nodding and so was Macarius.

"I guess so since these two always have to decide for me." I laughed. We had to go with her to the stage. Unhelpfully, the two boys came while bringing the twins with them. 

"Aww, are these your brother?" SHe asked bending down to see them. 

"No, one is our brother, the other is his friend and the other two twins are Mel's kids." Maspar told her. I'm never going to stop liking that face people pull when they find out they are my kids.

"Okay then. Can thm four sit at the side?" I got them to go sit on a bench and then we learned the dance. It was pretty simple but apparently it would look good because we are triplets. At the end of the practice, Mariel (that's the lady's name) called me back. "Can them twins be in the show too?" I nodded and called my kids back. 

Maspar's pov

Me and the boys walked back to the pool. Kian was sitting on the sunbed. "Where's Melody and the twins?"

"We don't know." Macarius said. Kian looked confused. 

"I better go find her." WIth that he got up and walked away.

"Who wants to go in the pool?" Macarius said. The two boys jumped around until we actually let them get in the pool.

Melody's pov

"High five Poppy, Jayden!" Mariel said. The two twins high fived her. They had just been practising their part. I' not going to say what it is though...

We walked through the tunnel to go back to the pool but Kian was coming towards us. "Where have you guys been?" He asked, picking Jayden up.

"We're in the show daddy!" Poppy told him. He looked at her shocked.

"Really?" He said, looking at me.

"Yeah. Let's go back to the apartment yeah?" We walked together back to our apartment. I thought of something. "Where are Jacob and Sammy?"

Macarius' pov

The kids played in the pool for mos of the day. We had to keep an eye on them.

Dad came round the corner and spotted the boys. "Oh there they are. Melody is looking for them." I was confused. Why was Melody looking for them when she knew that they were with me.
