Melody's mistake - Chapter 33

Melody's pov

I woke up early and Daisy was asleep on me. I smiled, she looked so cute. I wondered if I should move. Then I thought of her brother, and Kian. I lifted the sleeping pup up and tiptoed to Kian's room.

I laughed when I walked in. Kian was pinned on his bed by the 8 week old puppy. Murphy was sprawled out on Kian's tummy and was snoring gently. 

"Hello." I whispered.

"Hiya. Murphy has been like this all night. I can't get to sleep."

"Wow, I mean, how can he stay like that?"

"I dunno." Kian looked so cute with the puppy on him. I paced Daisy on the beanbag chair for a second and walked over to the bed. 

"Melody, what  you doing?" I reached over Kian and gently put my hands under the puppy. He lay still, snoring again. I picked up Murphy and cradled him while walking back to the beanbag chair. I picked up Daisy as well and then walked to the bed.

"Move along."

"What?"

"Move along. I'm cold." Kian shifted along his bed and I crawled in, a puppy in each hand. I passed him Murphy and kept ahold of Daisy. 

"Melody?"

"Hmm?"

"Why do the pups like us so much?"

"I dunno."

"I don't care, if it means you will come to see me."

"Kian I always come to see you. Anyway, you have only been here a day." I laughed. I lay down and Kian put his arm around me.

"Love you Melody."

"Love you kian." With that I fell asleep.
