Asking Kian - Chapter 29

Maspar's pov

I lay in bed, listening to my brother and sister's heavy breathing as they were asleep. I still didn't believe Melody. There was only one person I could ask.

"Are you awake?" I whispered into the darkness.

"Yes. What is it Maspar?"

"It's about Melody."

Kian sat up then and turned on the light. "Why? What's wrong with her?"

"That's what I wanted to ask you."

"Well.." Kian thought for a minute. "She was a bit annoyed she couldn't move into here."

"Well that wouldn't happen. SHe knows that. Not because of you, well it IS because of you if you know what I mean."

"What, in the way of me being her boyfriend or the way that she is your sister and I a one of you best friends?"

"Both."

"Oh. okay. I don't really mind. I haven't even spent one night yet here with you three and Gemma and Caspar."

"Yep. We don''t want you out already mate."

"Maspar?"

"Yes?"

"Can I got to sleep now. It is christmas day in half an hour."

"Oh okay." We said goodnight and I went back to our room and got into bed. Melody shook me. 

"What?"

"I know you went to see kian."

"So?"

"Nothing. Goodnight." She hugged me and I smiled. 

"Goodnight Melody."
