Maspar's blackout day - Chapter 17

Maspar's pov

I woke up feeling rubbish today. I felt angry. 

Melody woke me up. "Maspar, we have to go to school today. I know you want to stay with Jacob but we really have to go."

"Gimme ten more minutes."

"No MAspar I've already done that. Your older, you are supposed to set an example."

The fire inside of me raged. "YOU THINK OF ME LIKE THAT DO YOU? I CAN BE A BETTER EXAMPLE TO YOU!" Melody flinched back. I suddenly felt ashamed. "I'm sorry. I just felt angry and had to take it out on someone." I pulled my sister into a hug and got up. "Go away so I can get ready!"

When I had my school uniform on I headed upstairs and into the kitchen. Jacob was in melody's arms, gurgling or whatever babies do. 

I smiled at my sister. "Can I hold him, Please?" She passed him over. "Hey Jakey, happy playing with your big brother?" Jacob giggled and I bounced him around.

Dad came in. "Maspar, go to school."

Melody's pov

I watched as Maspar started yelling again. "WHY DON'T I JUST GO AND NOT COME BACK! I WON'T BE MISSED!" Then he blacked out.

"Maspar!" I screamed, running forward. I couldn't catch Maspar but I could catch Jacob. He cried loudly and I rocked him. "SHhh, you're okay. Shh."

Macarius walked in. "What's he done this time?"

"HE has blacked out. Help then, if you please!" 

I hoped that Maspar was going to be okay. I don't know what we would do otherwise.
