So I knew this wouldn't be a normal study hall for two reasons: One, it never is, and two, there was someone I haven't seen since elementary school sitting right in front of me.
Not because they moved or anything, but simply because they're a grade ahead of me and not in any of my classes.
Not even study hall.
So this person just sits there, and blurts out, "I'm not in this class!"
The substitute teacher takes no notice and continues on.
The guy sits there and strikes up a conversation about whether you can get an STD from drinking pee (Verdict: unclear) or an infection from eating dog poop (verdict: yes).
I have absolutely no idea why he was there, or where he was supposed to be, but he stayed the whole period.
Then, one kid asks the teacher for a pass, leaves, and appears five minutes later in the exclusive music hallway, which is not at all where he asked to go. This hall has the orchestra/band room, general music, the instrument storage, and a teacher office.
I think he was asking to go to math, on the other side of the school.
Then, the office calls asking for a student. Not a strange thing.
This student had asked to go briefly visit a different study hall, but now we're halfway through the period with him still being gone.
She asks everyone and no one knows where he is.
Then, the guidance counselor arrives in our classroom and asks for the student again, and the sub tells her the story.
But he said he was going to visit another study hall, and this was the only one this period. In the school.
What?
So one kid runs out to go look for the fugitive, and returns five minutes later.
Him: I searched LITERALLY EVERY HALLWAY in the school.
Sub: ...
Him: I also went through the music hallway five times, and now the general music teacher thinks I'm crazy.
This was actually the same kid who appeared randomly in the music hallway.
So in the end, no one found the guy the whole period, and everyone decided he is hiding under the stage in the auditorium.
Why must I be stuck with these idiots?
