Obsessions.
People these days always say,"I'm obsessed with this!" or "I'm obsessed with that!"
In reality, barely anyone knows what obsessed actually means, and even fewer are.
Not being obsessed with 1d: Listening to all their songs, having a couple posters, writing fanfictions, and barely ever mentioning them.
Being obsessed with 1d: Listening to all their songs whenever you have free time, having a room devoted to 1d memorabilia, no one knows what color your room is under all the 1d posters, going on vacation wherever they're on tour, and most importantly, not being able to think about something else. All day, you are thinking about and talking about 1d.
Now, that is an obsession.
And people say "I'm obsessed with kitties" and I've never heard them talk about "kitties" except in that conversation.
So please, stop saying you have an obsession.
Obsession goes beyond liking, beyond loving, devotion.
Obsession means you're obsessed.
