This has happened to me so many times.
Basically, you sit down at a desk.
Then, someone sits down next to you.
You do your work for a little until it starts up.
CHOMP CHOMP SQUISH CHOMP SMACK CHEW
Someone chewing their gum.
Loudly.
Honestly, gum chewing is pretty much the worst noise in the world for me.
It completely takes away all of my concentration, and focuses it on that one noise
And the noise is so wet and squishy and disgusting and aCHhGGG
But if you ask the person to chew less loudly, they never do and sometimes just chew louder
Or they stop but start chewing again and you have to deal with,
"So." chomp. "How was your day?" chomp. "I have" chomp. "Like," chomp. "Sooo much homework!"

Please, be quiet and courteous to others and silence your CHOMPER.
