No offense

I hate it when people say "no offense".

I mean, there are some people who can actually use it correctly, but most people just want to say something really rude and offensive and this is supposed to help them get away with it.

I mean, how does it help when you say this,"No offense, but you're an idiot, no one likes you, and you look like a troll."?

In fact, it would probably be better to say, "I mean great offense", because you will offend this person, and you will seem like an idiot when you say,"You shouldn't have gotten offended because I said no offense! You have no reason to be upset even though I completely insulted you!"

A good time to say "no offense":
*friend trips*
If they're in a good mood, you could probably say,"No offense, but that was kind of funny,"

A bad time to say "no offense":
"Ugh, I feel like everyone's laughing at me! Like they look down on me," friend says, in a bad mood.
"No offense, but a lot of people do,"

Do people not see how that can be offensive? How do they not mean offense? Keep it to yourself if you're going to say something like that!

Farewell😘
