Dear writers,
Please don't make the readers wait for ten million years and then post an update that says,"I won't be updating for a while,"
WHY CANT YA DO IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE, OR NEVER POST THAT AT ALL, HUH?
I mean, I get that you want readers to know you won't be updating, but you could tell them beforehand, so that they will know you're not updating, or if you've already been gone for a while, then never post that update at all.
People will be expecting a great update from you, but you give them one sentence.
I won't be updating for a while, sorry.
There's also the "this is a super bad chapter, sorry" people.
They either post a completely good chapter and go, "Oh it's terrible pity me" or they post a chapter full of crap and I just think, "Why'd ya post it if a) you thought it was bad and b) it was bad?"
Probably because they thought it was good and were fishing for compliments.
