"What do you have for me this time? Another dead end Parker?"

"Don't get fresh with me. I'm offering good information. I don't have to be here." Parker hissed.

Bethany knew of his abilities so she cursed herself for getting him angry.

"Sorry. Now where is Dr. Siward? Does he know I'm here?"

"Not to my knowledge no, but he has upped his game to find you. Even offered me a lot of money to bring you in." Parker stepped forward a small smirk evident on his face. Slowly Bethany pulled her phone out having Eddie on speed dial. Luckily he didn't notice the movement.

"But?"

"But I like you, and I hate him." Bethany turned her face in Parker's effort to touch her cheek.

"Don't."

Parker used his ability to force Bethany's compliance. "I warned you Bethany." Parker forced her to look him the eye. "I could turn you in, or you could come with me."

"And I said to keep your hands off." She spat pushing his arm away. Parker pushed her back hard. Her small body hit the ground, and skid across the floor of her apartment. Losing her phone in the process.

Parker advanced kneeling in front of her picking her head up by her hair. "You either come with me, or I'll put you back in that hell hole."

"Lets go then." She hissed allowing Parker to pull her up on her feet.

"That's what I thought."

Bethany took a deep breath to stay calm. She never thought Parker was in contact with Dr. Siward. If she had known she would've stayed in Barry's lab with him.

Parker had an arm across Bethany's shoulders as they walked down the sidewalk. He lead her far away to an old warehouse. It reeked of that gross factory grease smell. Like something was constantly burning.

"So Bethany here's the real zinger. Do I keep you, or give you away? Are you worth more than a huge wad of cash?"

Bethany stepped forward putting a hand on his chest. "Parker we have so much history. With your abilities you could get so much more money. You could get yourself twice as much compared to whatever he offered."

Without really realizing what she was doing she started to play with his chest. Her curiosity getting the best of her as she felt the hard muscle. In the dim lighting you could see his body shimmer catching Bethany's eye.

"Cool huh?" He said with a smile when he turned back into a human. The feel of his warmth replacing the cold.

"That's new. Dr. Siward didn't do that to you." Bethany looked at him in confusion when he turned his arm into crystal.

"You're right he didn't. The particle accelerators explosion did. Don't know too much about it. The police force refers to us as Meta-humans. Enough about me Bethany. Why does the doctor want you so bad? Three million is a lot just for a nobody."

"None of his tests worked on me. I promise you I'm just you're average twenty year old."

"Then why-"

A gust of wind interrupted them. His body turned back into crystal pushing Bethany out of the way. The blur caught her so she wouldn't get hurt.

"I knew you'd show up." Bethany whispered.

The man in the red suit nodded stepping forward to fight Parker.

"I wondered if you'd show up here for the girl." Parker cracked his knuckles stepping forward swinging at the hero. The Flash sidestepped running around him. A red blur surrounding the crystal man.

Bethany watched in surprise when Parker went flying, but quickly recovered running at the man in the suit.

"You can't beat me." Parker yelled his whole body turning a light green from the crystal.

"I can try, but for now it'll have to wait." Then Bethany was in his arms, and the warehouse was behind them.

"Woah." She said clinging tighter to him. Now they stood on her roof. She stepped back in surprise.

"How'd you know where I was?"

"A friend called me. Told me you were in danger. From there it wasn't hard to pinpoint your location."

"So you really are fast. How fast can you go?" Bethany asked curiously leaning on the edge of the building.

"Faster than sound. I heard you've been looking for me. Care to share why?"

"Have you heard of a man called Dr. Siward?"

"No, why is he relevant?"

Bethany opened her mouth to say something, but held back. "Its not a pretty story."

"You wanted my help. That's why Im standing here. Pretty story or not."

"A man named Joseph Siward had kidnapped me when I was younger. Took me out of my home along with a few others. Kids with a certain gene make-up. He tested our brain activity. Started to inject us with different drugs. Our brains only have access to sixty percent of its whole hundred percent capabilities. He wanted to know what the other forty percent could do. Soon kids started to break down psychically. Their brains literally fried. Except mine.

I was his prize. The golden egg of his experiments. I have access to about a little over half of what a regular human would, and it continues to grow. I can do things normal people wouldn't believe possible. You're different also." As if to demonstrate she teleported across the roof then back so she stood in front of him.

"Is this okay?" She asked her hand close to his temple. "It won't hurt, or give your identity away. I can't read minds I promise."

The Flash nodded Bethany closed her eyes her fingers touching the side of his head.

'I can link our brain waves. Much like a one way radio. I can speak to you, but you cannot speak to me. I can also move objects with my mind. I came here looking for help from you. Eddie, he is a friend of mine, and he found me when I escaped from Dr. Siward. I was only seventeen at the time. I was at the god forsaken facility for nine years. Eddie and his parents raised me as their own. My parents were no where to be found until just recently. I would do anything in my power to ensure their safety. Along with the new friends I made Iris and Barry. Will you help me?'

"Let me consult with my team. What's the danger here?"

"There shouldn't be any. At least none you haven't faced before. Parker, the man who kidnapped me, says Dr. Siward has upped his game, but as of yet has no idea where I am. I need to find him first. His main facility was burned to the ground. Now he is set up elsewhere trying to find me. I came here in the hopes of finding answers."

"I'll see what I can do to help."

Then he was gone. Bethany continued to stare where he had stood. Unsure of what to expect she went into her apartment, and went to sleep. Today was a little too adventurous.
