"Let's see it then Allen. Try me." Bethany said with a smirk bringing her fists up. "Try not to go easy on me."

"I can't hit a girl."

Beth pulled off a flawless roundhouse kick that barely missed Barry's face. "Pretend I'm not then."

Barry shrugged holding his fists up halfheartedly. "You're stance is all wrong." Beth said with a sigh. "Dominant foot a little in front of the other. Feet shoulder width apart. Better."

Barry did as told raising an eyebrow at her. "Alright try and hit me then Bethany."

Bethany smirked going all out. Throwing punches, multiple kicks, even did a flip, and almost managed to hit him.

"Fine you win that one. Now hit me." Then she focused on slowing time. Like she had when she fought Captain Cold. The red blur circling her slowly became Barry.

He struck out, and Beth leaned back as his fist just barely missed her nose. Then Beth landed a punch to his ribs time speeding up as he tumbled to back in surprise.

"How the hell did you do that!?" Barry said getting up.

"I have a few tricks up my sleeve. It's a secret."

"Alright then let's go again." He said cracking his knuckles. He ran around her, and again she slowed down time enough to see Barry's figure.

This time he switched tactics throwing multiple punches. Two coming at her faster than the first. She did a back flip, but Barry managed to get behind her. She turned trying to round house kick him, but he caught her leg. Time sped up and she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"I think I won that one right guys?" He said turning to Felicity.

"Sure Barry."

"Beth are you okay?"

She waved them off finally standing on two feet. She closed her eyes leaning on the wall trying to catch her breath, but she couldn't.

The room seemed to warp, and change shape. "You don't look so good Beth." Barry said holding her shoulders.

"I just...I just need...to sit." She breathed resting her head on Barry's chest.

"Guys I'm gonna run us home, and have Caitlin check up on her." He said picking her up.

John, and Felicity nodded. "Text me when you find out what's wrong."

"Mm fine." Beth mumbled against Barry's chest. When Barry took off she held her eyes shut tight clinging too him. The distance was just a little too far for her. The air acting as a vacuum and she would've suffocated if Barry hadn't sensed something was wrong.

He set her down and she took deep breaths keeping a hand on his chest in a small way of saying I'm okay.

"Can we go? We're almost there Beth?"

She held up a finger taking a few more deep breaths before holding in her breath nodding at Barry. He scooped her up and the moment she couldn't hold her breath anymore she was in the all too familiar lab room.

"Something's wrong Caitlin." Barry said whipping around to see Cait already rushing over.

"Give her room Barry. Go wait elsewhere, and I'll come get you."

Beth watched as he went his shoulders slumped in defeat.

"What seems to be the problem?"

Caitlin asked grabbing the head gear once more.

"I slowed time when sparing with Barry, and-"

"You can slow down time?" Caitlin asked with surprise.

"Not the time to be amazed. Afterwards the room seemed to warp and change colors, and it was hard to breath. To be honest it felt as if someone was trying to I don't know...hack into my brain? Or my body? I felt a lose of control over myself."

"Oh-kay. Well let's see the activity in your brain shall we?"

She pulled a monitor over looking at all the different things on it. "Wow okay. Guys you may need to see this!" Caitlin called out worrying Bethany even more.

"What's wrong?" Barry said standing next to Bethany suddenly. Beth glanced at the screen and knew almost immediately what was wrong.

"When you look at this screen what do you see?" Caitlin asked as Cisco entered the room confused.

"A human brain?"

"A normal human brain, yes. With normal human brain activity. Now what do you see when you look at this?"

The room fell silent and Bethany gripped the small blanket on her refusing to look away from the ceiling. Barry's hand found its way to Beth's and she flicked her gave over to him, but he just stared at the screen.

"An ultra human brain." Cisco mumbled cutting the silence.

"Bethany's brain is emitting signals outside of her brain. Like a radio frequency which means-"

"Which means I no longer just control fifteen percent of my brain, but over half. About sixty-two percent to be exact." Bethany said cutting Caitlin off.

"Right and-"

"And when I let my walls down someone tried connecting their brain waves with mine." Bethany said looking worriedly at Barry. He looked at her concerned as well.

"Like mind jacking?" Cisco said suddenly.

"I would've gone with mind hacking, but yeah mind jacking is cooler since their intention was to take over my body."

"Wait...come again." Barry said staring intensely at Beth.

"I hadn't realized it until you ran off with me. When we got far enough away a pressure was lifted from my mind meaning someone was pushing on it."

"Then I guess that means we train you." Harrison Wells said wheeling into the room. "And maybe The Flash could use you in his fight for justice. I believe you just became apart of team Flash Ms. Stone."

Beth furrowed her eyebrows looking to Barry for an answer. He just smiled and leaned in to whisper something Beth sending shivers down her spine.

"I guess we're partners now."

"Guess so." She whispered back her eyes sparkling as she stared at Barry. The two so happy to have found another messed up person to call their own. A normal person to them.
