"I'm gonna go grab us lunch." Beth said kissing Barry's cheek as he struggled to finish up the million things he had to do.

She had almost made it out the door when Barry sped around her stopping her in her tracks. "Not alone you're not."

"Barry-" Beth warned trying to side step him, but Barry refused to let her pass.

"Bethany I almost lost you once. Please, lunch can wait, or have Eddie take you or something." His eyes softening as he went from overly protective to pleading.

"I don't need a babysitter Allen. I'm grabbing pizza across the street. Unless maybe a rogue car decides to barrel through pedestrians I'll be fine."

Barry gave her that one look that could make everyone cave. Well maybe not everyone since Bethany just rolled her eyes.

"The cute factor won't work on me. Barry I know you're afraid. Okay I literally feel the same every time you go after a new meta-human. I have trained under The Arrow. You...I'm a better fighter. You have super speed. I have abnormal mental capabilities. You don't need to worry about me buying pizza." Beth wrapped her arms around Barry's waist connecting her brain waves to his trying to get him to comply, or at least understand.

All she got was a huge pressure on her mind from the obscene amount of emotions pushing on her. "It's okay." He wasn't just worried. It was a whole array of emotions.

She kissed him forcing his worries away replacing his thoughts with better ones. Like the first time they met, and when she had flipped him onto the ground the first time he came over to her apartment. The first time they kissed. Their first, unofficial, date. All the cute moments they had shared.

She pulled away smiling up at Barry who seemed more relaxed. "You can go, but I'll be keeping an eye on you." He said pulling her closer kissing her once more.

She pecked his lips twice more before turning away glad to have gotten her way. "Thanks Bear!" She called running into Iris as she stormed in.

Beth furrowed her eyebrows in confusion at the tight lipped smile she received from her friend. With a huff she continued out of the precinct and out onto the street.

When she walked in the pizza place she looked around a little worried. Barry's worries had her paranoid. Every stare had her suspicious.

"Can I help you?" A voice rang out startling her. She looked at the teen in front of her.

"Oh uh yes two large pizza's. One pepperoni, jalapeños, and olives. The other a Hawaiian."

"Alright I'll bring it over for you." He smiled winking at her. She scuffed turning to sit down. In that split second she caught a flash of white hair. Looking around she caught what looked like white hair going by the window. It caught her attention so she looked closer hoping to catch a glimpse of the woman's face as she walked by the second window.

Realizing who it is, or who it should be her heart stopped. "Tina?" She whispered rushing out the door looking around for her, but the street was empty of the white haired girl.

She furrowed her eyebrows walking back into Antonio's brushing it off as nerves. There's no way any of them are here. She knew they all died. She was there, and saw it happen.

Beth took a seat looking up at Barry's lab window wondering if he saw? Maybe she could sneak away, and investigate.

"Two large for a beautiful young lady." The teen from earlier said setting the boxes in front of her.

"Kid I'm not up for grabs." Beth said slapping the amount owed on the table turning in her sneakers rushing out the door. It was in her nature to figure out what just happened, and she was determined to investigate.

"Eddie!" She called seeing him walk over to his desk. He looked up smiling at Beth taking the boxes out of her hands.

"Thanks." She smiled wiping her now hot hands on her jeans. "Can you do a favor for me?" Beth asked sweetly.

"Depends. Does it involve Barry?" He said quirking an eyebrow at her.

"Yes." She sighed. "I need to look into something, but he won't let me." Beth pouted. "He's busy, and he'll make me wait."

Eddie nodded. "I'll tell him I'm coming with you. Iris, and I got in an argument so I'm free for the day."

"Thanks Eddie I owe you one!" She called as she snuck out. She glanced up at the windows in Barry's lab seeing his back turned towards me as he talked animatedly with Iris.

Beth thought about questioning him about it later. She turned teleporting to the alleyway by Antonio's glancing in the direction she had last saw Tina, or her imposter.

Quickly she took a deep breath shuffling down the alley looking down the street. Following the flow of the human traffic she noticed she was headed towards S.T.A.R Labs.

Shaking her head clearing her thoughts about the white haired woman she just teleported in the cortex.

"AH!" Cisco screamed throwing an odd looking gadget in the air as he let himself roll under his desk.

"Bethany that's not funny!" He yelled forcing an angry look on his face. She continued to laugh as he crawled out picking up his now broken thing.

"Barry know your here?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "He won't like that you came here alone."

"I'll call him right now if you'll stop looking at me like that." She mumbled pulling out her phone.

"Hey I just don't want to be on the other side of that sonic punch of his."

Sonic punch? Beth questioned herself as Barry's phone rang.

"Bethany where are you? Are you okay? Eddie brought the pizza up, and I thought something was wrong. Are you-"

"Barry Im fine. Do you still have a lot of work to do?" She asked sitting in Cisco's seat as he walked into the room that held Barry's suit.

"I can finish fairly quickly why?"

"Because I'm at S.T.A.R Labs and I want you here to look into something, but I'll just hang out with Cisco until you're done."

"Give me ten minutes. I'll bring you your pizza too. I ate half of it. Sorry."

Beth imagined that he was doing that thing where he rubs the back of his neck when he's uncomfortable. "It's fine Bear. I wouldn't have been able to eat the whole thing anyway." She shrugged spinning in the chair slowly.

"I have two things left. Be there soon. I love you."

"Love-" A click was heard, and Beth sighed. "You too." She finished with a small smile on her face.

The first real thing in her life was none other than Barry Allen. Scarlet Speedster. Her golden boy.
