*prepare yourselves(:*

Beth looked at her trashed apartment with so much shock it didn't even register that someone had to have actually broken in to do this. Her couch was flipped on it's side, papers, and glass lay scattered along the ground. Her TV had a hole in it. She looked closer at the table next to her overturned couch.

Pictures of her and different people lay scattered across the table. Her and Iris. Her and Barry. Her and Eddie. Her and Joe. Pictures of herself around the city. Getting in a cab. Walking into the precinct. They even had a couple pictures of her and a red blur. She backed away falling to the ground too shocked to comprehend the thoughts going through her head.

'I know' was painted across her living room wall. Bethany shrieked clenching her panic button so tight she thought she'd break it. When he didn't show right away she panicked. The poor girls anxiety going through the roof. "He knows." She kept whispering. She didn't feel the familiar gust of wind when Flash entered or hear him call her name. He reached out to touch her, but she shrieked flinging her arms out in an attempt to push him away. He was sent flying across the room when Beth unknowingly used her powers against him in her fear of it being Dr. Siward.

"Bethany!" Flash yelled groaning when he got up. Her breathing was labored unable to calm herself down. Hearing that familiar voice caused tears to form in her eyes. "He knows." She said between breaths.

The Flash was by her side in a second. "Take deep breaths. I need you to calm down a little okay?"

She nodded wiping her eyes. He was right. She wrapped her arms around him holding him close. "Don't let him take me away." She whispered hardly able to speak.

"He won't Beth. You're safe."

She refused to let go, Flash just let her hold him. Getting ahold of herself she pulled away standing up to dust off her dress. "Look at this." Beth stated grabbing a few of the pictures that were taken of her. "Someone is watching me, and everyone around me."

"And apparently me too." Flash said grabbing one of the photo's of him as a blur.

"I have been so clueless. I let myself get distracted. He could go after any of them. Even you. What if you can't out run this? What if he takes Iris? Or Barry?! I'm so stupid. I never let myself get close to people for a reason. I wanted to be normal so badly that I allowed them to become a target. Dr. Siward knows me inside and out. If he gets ahold of either of you. He knows I would do anything to make sure everyone is safe. Even if it means going back there. I don't know what to do." Bethany said exasperated stopping her pacing to look at The Flash. "Someone is going to get hurt, and it will be my fault."

"No it won't get that far. If these people are important to you then I'll make them important to me. We will keep everyone safe together. You have me Bethany, the fastest man alive, on your side. We can do this."

"We can do this." Bethany repeated feeling better about the whole situation. She sighed. "I guess I better start cleaning up."

"I got it." Then he sped around her apartment picking everything up in a matter in seconds when it probably would have taken her at least an hour. Her apartment almost looked new and shiny. Except for the spray paint on the wall. Bethany narrowed her eyes at it.

"I would've scrubbed it off, but I was afraid of making it worse."

"I'll just have to paint over it somehow." Bethany shrugged.

"Its different seeing you dressed up." Flash said with a small smirk. "You look amazing."

Beth could feel her cheeks heating up. "Too bad the one idiot I wanted to hear say that was busy staring at someone else." Bethany mumbled taking a seat on her couch.

"And who would that idiot be?"

"Barry Allen." Bethany shook her head laughing at herself mockingly. "I'm an idiot for not seeing it before. He loves Iris. I can tell he does. When he looks at her he has this look on his face, and it's kind of painful to see because he looks so...I don't know. Hurt?" Bethany rubbed her temples. "Why did I even attempt to have a relationship in the first place!? Besides the fact he loves somebody else I'm not normal. I can't tell him anything. I kept telling myself it's okay, but I shouldn't have listened. I can't pretend to be normal with a normal relationship, and have normal friends that can't go faster than sound." Beth sighed putting her hand on her cheek. "I just wanted attention from the guy I'm crushing on."

"I would say that A it's true Barry is an idiot, and B our friendship could be considered normal. For us it is at least. Both of us having to go through some tough stuff. It's our kind of normal." He said taking a seat next to her.

"I like our kind of normal." Bethany whispered staring at her superhero of a friend. He looked at her, and her heart jumped a little bit. Beth realised something in that moment. The Flash was her normal. Barry was just a fantasy.

Bethany hadn't realized she was so close until their noses brushed. If her heart rate didn't go through the roof staring at him. It did now. His breath fanned across her face, and she really didn't know what to do. Then his lips were on hers, and she just melted. She so badly wanted to rip his mask off, but just left her hands awkwardly at her sides.

The kiss quickly turned passionate, but only lasted a few more seconds before The Flash pulled away. Bethany had to resist the urge to pull him down on top of her. Beth's lips tingled, and her body felt on fire. She kissed The Flash. Well she had thought about it, but he beat her to it.

"I better go." He whispered. He was about to stand up when Bethany pulled him back down so she could kiss him again. When she pulled away he seemed to be slightly dazed. "Please don't go." She whispered.

"Beth I can't stay. I would love to trust me, but there are people who need me."

She kissed him again with a small smile on her lips. "Did I ever tell you that you look pretty sexy in that red suit." Bethany breathed out pretty dazed herself. She internally smirked when he turned about as red as his suit.

"I need to...I just...I would...Yeah...bye Bethany." He said tripping over his feet to get out of the room. Familiar much?

"Go save the city Flash!" She called just before the door shut, and she heard the sound of him leaving. Bethany was left a mess on the couch.

"That was definitely something." She smiled bringing her fingers up to her lips. Oddly enough they still tingled. In a good way of course.
