Throwing the plan aside Beth made her way out of the boiler room. Looking down the hallway she saw a few guards running down the hallway.

Cloaking herself using her mind so she wouldn't be discovered she quickly hid in the darkness of the boiler room.

"Why isn't anyone down here?"

"Who knows. You can't count on idiots to do their job."

Laughing the guards checked the generator. One going behind it to look at the damage Beth had done.

While he was checking the generator for damages Beth came out of hiding. She hit the second guard as hard as she could on the back of his head watching as he crumpled to the ground.

Catching the first guards attention she quickly grabbed her dagger taking him out as well.

Putting her dagger back in its concealed spot she dragged the two bodies in a corner before leaving the boiler room behind her.

Making her way towards the basement she searched for Tina with her mind.

'Have you found the doctor?'

'No...the defenses haven't been taken down yet. I'm working on it.'

'Let me know when you find him.'

'I'll let you know when you stop messing around. I will help you get Barry as soon as the defenses are down. I promise just stick to the plan, and get your team over here.'

'I'm sorry Tina, but Barry is my priority now. He wasn't even supposed to be here. My team will stick to the plan. I will rendezvous with Max as soon as I have Barry.'

'And if you don't?'

'If I don't show up within the next hour leave me. I will get out myself with Barry's help. Good luck.'

'You too Beth. Stay safe. You better show up or I'll beat your ass myself.'

Not bothering to respond she crossed another hallway making a run for the elevator. Just making it inside as it shut behind her she pushed the button for the basement.

She was so close to Barry she could almost feel his presence. Her hands were shaking with anticipation as she bounced on the balls of her feet. When the doors opened she grabbed her dagger ready for defense as she walked into the hallway.

She reached out to his mind, but something seemed to block her out. She came around a corner barreling past two guards as she ran right into Barry's room.

"Barry?"

"Bethany?" Barry tried to look over, but couldn't.

"What did they do to you?" Beth said rushing over taking the metal headpiece that held his head down.

The two guards rushed in heading straight for Bethany. Using her powers she knocked them back as she struggled to get Barry out.

A guard wrapped his arm around her throat and she used her leg to kick out at him. He laughed at her weak attempt, but she swung her dagger slicing his fingers making him let go. Turning around to face her opponents she pushed with her mind hard making them stumble.

An assault on her own mind began. Making her sink down on one knee. Fighting hard she threw the guard attacking her mind back. Running at him full force using her physical abilities to knock him out.

The other guard tackled her before she could land a fatal blow causing her to lose the dagger as it skittered across the floor.

She huffed and pushed at the knee on her chest but he wouldn't budge. She struck out with her right fist barely catching his nose.

Pinning her arms down she bucked her hips in an attempt to get him off, but he was bigger than she was.

Using her mind she screamed as she pushed harder than she ever had causing the gaurd to fly down the hallway hitting the wall with a loud thud.

Quickly Beth spun around and got up to grab her dagger. Dizzy she staggered and fell trying to catch her breath watching the unconscious guard for movement.

She blinked a few times standing up, and walking over to finish the job. As hard as she could manage in her weakened state she sunk her dagger in his chest.

Remembering why she was there to begin with she quickly went over to the table Barry was at.

"Are you okay? Beth you're bleeding."

"I'm okay Barry." She smiled at him, but the light never reached her eyes. Her head felt like it was splitting in two.

With her dagger she went to cut his arm loose when she was stabbed in the neck with something.

"And so the bee was lured to its honey." Doctor Siward said as Bethany fell to the floor at his feet. "Looks like I caught the bee."

"Let her go!" Barry yelled struggling with his restraints.

"Now why would I do that?" The doctor laughed as his assistants picked Beth up and set her on a table similar to Barry's.

"Take her away. We have some rats to clear out."

"Yes sir."

"Don't touch her!"

After Beth was strapped in place one of the assistants sighed. Taking a mouth piece out of her pocket she placed it in Barry's mouth putting his metal headpiece back in place. "Good boy. Stay quiet now." She smirked leaving a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach.

What are they gonna do now?

*****

I'm sorry for the short chapters, but hopefully this makes up for it.

I mean a fight scene and a bitter reunion? What can be better than that?
