It was finally lunch time, so I walked over to the cafeteria. As soon as I walk in, I see Cameron already on line with a fuming Jessica behind him. I rolled my eyes and went to the back of the line. Once I picked out my food, I went to the checkout area.

"Your foods been already paid, Ms. Hill." The lunch lady said, pointing over to where Cam was standing. Why would he pay for my lunch? If that's his way of apologizing, it was surely a lousy one. "Lily!" I heard my name being shouted from across the cafeteria. I looked up and saw Zac standing on the table with his arms waving from side to side. I rolled my eyes and smiled, walking over to where most of the football players, and cheerleaders sat.

"Hey." I greeted, taking a seat and sitting down. "You look great today." Zac complemented, causing my cheeks to go bright red. "Thanks."

We were all laughing and talking when a seat got pulled out from across from me. It was of course, Cameron.

"Hey, guys." He said, looking towards me. I refused to make any eye contact with him. He was just being a cold-hearted jerk as usual, and this time I wasn't going to put up with it.

"Are the hottest couple on campus fighting?" Kyle smirked, taking a bite from her sandwich. "No, we're not." I said with my mouth closed, and teeth clenched. I just wanted to slap her right now, but I didn't want to make a scene.

"So why are you guys ignoring each other?" Kyle questioned, trying to hide an evident smirk. "We aren't, right Summer?" I nodded my head and smiled. "You guys wanna go to the mall with us on Friday?" She inquired, stabbing her "hamburger" with a fork. The whole table erupted with 'yes' and 'maybes.'

The bell rung and I gathered all of my books from the lunch table. "Great." I said as a book fell from my grip. I bent down to get it, but accidentaly bumped heads with another person who was doing the same. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" I asked worridely looking up to meet a pair of hazel eyes. "Nevermind. It's just you." I mumbled, rolling my eyes and grabbing the book from his hand.

"Give it to me, Cameron." I demanded. Before I can grab the book from his death grip, he snatches his hand back and I end up looking like a complete fool.

"Not until you tell me why you're ignoring me." He looked at me with guilt and worry in his eyes. I felt a little mean, but afterall, he did deserve it for dragging me into this mess.

"You know why!" I finally grabbed the book from his hands looked up to see no one but us in the cafeteria.

"How many fucking times do I have to tell you? I'm sorry." He yelled out in frustration. Whenever Cameron gets mad, you can say it's not very pretty.

"Sorry for what?" I asked, crossing my arms against my chest. It was a good thing that my next class was Study Hall, because if it wasn't, I would be out of this place in seconds.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into a mess that I made, and I'm sorry for being such a shitty best friend." He said walking up to me and almost killing me with one of his bear hugs. "Do you forgive me?"

"Of course I forgive you, dummy. You're my best friend." I smiled, hugging back.

"Brock!" I yelled chasing after the cute 3 year old boy. Currently, I was chasing him all around the house while Cameron is watching me from the couch in amusement.

"Give me the scissors!" I exclaimed picking him up and ripping the sharp object from his hands. "That's dangerous, buddy. You know not to run around with those." I lectured him.

Cameron rolled his eyes. "They are so not dangerous." He replied standing up and grabbing them from me. "Watch, Imma run around and you'll see that nothing will happen." He then jogged up the stairs and ran around the hallways. "See!" A few moments later a loud boom erupted from my room. My eyes widened in shock at what I saw. Cameron, on the floor.

"Are you serious? Cam! I told you so!" I yelled at him, turning him around so that he can face me.

"Haha!" Cameron started to laugh, clutching onto his stomach. "What's so funny?" I asked getting up and putting my hands on my hips. This better not be a joke.

"I was kidding! I wouldn't actually run around with scissors in my hand. They're dangerous." He mocked me. "Don't you dare do that to me ever again! You scared me." I rolled my eyes as he tackled me onto the bed. He's so annoying...
