Acacia's POV

"Acacia!" Alex yelled panting. I stopped while he catched up with me.

"Yeah?" I asked pulling out my phone as I heard a familar ding.

"I was just, um, wondering, i-if you w-wanted to maybe have lunch with me sometime?" He questioned rubbing the back of his neck as if he was almost nervous.

"I-" I was about to answer when he inturrupted me. "If you don't want to,  I won't mind."

"Alex, I would love to." I smiled and hugged him.

"Great, I'll call you." He said and kissed my cheek. Omg! Alex just kissed me. I know, I know, it's just a kiss on the cheek, but still, it's something. Throughout my whole life, I always kept my hopes low, just in case disappointment came to bite you in the ass. So, when he kissed me, I wasn't really disappointed. The first time Adrian and I kissed, I felt everything. I would say it felt like the fourth of July, but you guys would probably say that I'm over-eggarating, just a little bit, but you could say, it was something like that.

I smiled and unlocked my phone.

'Hey gurl! I really miss you. The guys here in NY are nothing compared to Cali, anyways, just wanna say that my mom allowed me to come back for the play! Can't wait to see you! Ta ta for now xo'

'That's great Chase! I miss you sooooo much. Lots of things to tell you. Bye xo'

"Who was that?" Someone asked me from behind. I turned around and saw Adrian frowning, pointing towards my phone.

"Don't frown." I simply said. I don't know what has gotten into me, but I raised my hand and ran over the little creases on his forehead.

"Sorry-" Omg! What is it with people inturrupting me these days?

"Shut up. Don't say sorry." It was my turn to frown.

"But seriously, I'm sor-"

"Shut up." I glared at Adrian while he smirked at me. "You literally have nothing to say sorry about. Besides, I found it pretty cute. Anyways, I gotta go. Tiffany's waiting for me." He said and walked away.

I felt something that I have never, in my life felt before. Okay, maybe once or twice. I think it was jealousy? I don't know what I am jealous about. It's not like I like him or anything. I don't like him right?

Adrian's POV

"Hey, what'd you call for?" Tiffany asked as I rang her doorbell.

"I need your help." I said simply sitting on one of her couches.

"Is it about Acacia?" She smirked raising her eyebrows at me.

I gave her a confused, nervous smile. "How'd you know?"

"Dude, serisously? Everyone knows you like her. It's not like you hide it or anything." She then sat on the opposite couch from me.

"What? Psh. I don't like her." I lied thorugh my teeth.

"Adrian. Come on. I knew you for what, 10 years now? I know you have a crush on her. You follow her around like a love sick puppy."

"Ok, fine. Maybe you're right. I might have a teeny tiny crush on her." I said blushing.

"Knew it! So, why do you need my help?" She questioned smiling at me.

"Well..."
