"So right now, she's in a stage where she can't remember anything. We don't know how long this thing will last. Maybe days, weeks, months, or unfortunately years." Mr. Greene said to us.
"We understand. Do you have any tips for us so that we can help her remeber?" She asked. After everything has happened, Alex has been... not himself. He hasn't been eating, sleeping, and basically anything. Sure, I was mad, but he was still my best friend, and I was horribly worried for him.
"Hm, don't pressure her into anything, because too much information, can add even more damage, and we wouldn't want that. I suggest no school for a week, and liquid diet for 5 days. She can leave tomorrow." He replied exiting the room and hanging the clipboard on the door.
Her parents, and Evan left, leaving the two of us alone. She was still asleep, so I decided to try to talk to her.
"Hey." I said, sitting on the chair next to the bed, and holding her hand.
ACACIA'S POV
Water. I really need some water. My mouth was aching for something. I tried to open my eyes, but I felt like they were glued together. I moved my hand, but winced, when a strong pang occurred. I decided to just lay down, and stay still until someone helped me. I felt around and heard some kind of monitor Where was I? It was really cold, and I needed to use the bathroom.
"Hey." Someone said getting closer to me, taking my hand into theirs, making me wince slightly. "What are you doing to me?" They asked. What did they mean?
"This... feeling. It's not right. I've never felt this way about a person... ever. A-And I hate that you make me feel this way. Whenever I'm around you, I-I change. Acacia, I think I-I might l-." I finally opened my eyes and saw a boy, looking about my age, staring down at me.
"Water." I barley made out, using my hands, to sit up, but cut off my his gentle one. "Hold on."He replied running out the room.
A few seconds later, five new people came into my view.
"How are you feeling?" I'm guessing the doctor asked, handing me a bottle of water. "Where am i?" I looked down at my legs and arms. "What happened?" I cried. The more and more that I looked over my body, the more nervous that I got. I had no idea what's going on, and these people aren't helping.
"You were in a car accident with another boy." A nurse said, trying to brighten up my mood by smiling, but that wasn't working either.
I nodded, and played down in the bed. There was about 12 eyes watching my every move, and I was slowly getting uncomfortable and annoyed.
"Who are you?" I asked the little boy who's eyes were red, from crying.
"I'm your brother." He replied, his voice hoarse.
I smiled slightly. "I'm sorry but I don't remember having a brother." They all looked at each other, worried glances filling the room.
