"Acacia, you have to come!" Tiffany whined. "No. Tiffany, do you know me? I don't go to parties." I replied opening my locker and taking out my Physics binder.

"Please Acacia!" She yelled rushing me in a hug. "I don't have anything to wear!" I said pushing her off me and walking down the hall, knowing she was going to follow me.

"I'll buy you everything, please! All you have to do is show up, eat, drink, swim-" She said but I cut her off. "Urm, did u say swim?" I asked stopping in my tracks causing Tiffany to bump into me.

"Yeah, why?" I started walking again looking down at the ground. "Listen Tiffany, as much as I would love to go, I have to do something on Friday. Sorry." I apologized and entered my class.

Today was the day of Tiffany's party, and I am so not going. All this week Tiffany has been nagging me and bribing me to come, but my answer never changed. So, here I was in my living room, in pajamas, with the Music Network blaring, and me dancing wildly to the songs that came on. My parents are having dinner with some of my dad's co-workers, while my brother was sleeping over a friend's house.

All of a sudden, the doorbell rang and I lowered the volume on the Tv and ran up to the door. "Can I he-" Once I saw who was at the door and immediatly shut it. "You can't hide from me forever Acacia!" She yelled banging on the door.

"Oh yes I can Tiffany!" I said locking the door and sitting on the couch. After a few minutes I knew I was safe and blared the music even louder and continued to dance.

"Told you, you couldn't" Someone said behind me. "AHHH!" I screamed turning around.

"Haha! Nice dance moves, now let's get dressed."

"I can't believe I'm wearing this." I said as I looked into the mirror. I was wearing a pink maxi skirt, with a pink aztec rop top that I tucked into the skirt. My hair was done straight, and makeup done.

"You look gorgeous. Like I'm not even lying." Tiffany gushed putting on her final touches of her makeup.

"Thanks Tiff, but you don't have to lie to me." I said quietly sitting down on my bed.

"Acacia, have you seen yourself, you are stunning, and don't you ever forget. So, stop being a downer and let's have fun!" She screamed taking my hand and leading me out the door.
