Adrian's POV
You can say that it was pretty boring without Acacia in class. But now, I'm at CVS Pharmacy getting something for Evan and Acacia.
------------------------------------------------------
"Hey." I breathed out.
"Hey." She replied. "Come in." I nodded slowly and entered the livingroom were Evan was watching TV.
"Hey, buddy. How ya doin?" I asked high-fiving him.
"Good I guess. Acacia is good with kids." He said smiling brightly.
"Really?" I questioned raising my eyebrows.
"Yeah." I looked at her and smiled.
"You know the play is in 5 days?" She smiled.
"Yeah, Mr. Leo was pretty pissed about you being absent." I said standing up.
"Well Mr. Leo shouldn't be pissed because I already memorized everything. Evan we are going to be in my room if you need me." I laughed and we made our way to her room.
"Okay, so what do you wann do first?" She asked me getting out her textbooks and putting them on her bed.
"Urm what about English?" I asked not really paying attention. She nodded and we got to work.
-----------------------------------
"Okay you got that?" She said looking exhausted.
"Not really." I said nochalantly. I knew this would get her mad.
"Are you kidding me? Why the hell not? I've been teaching you for 2 hours."
"I was distracted." I said honestly looking into her eyes.
"Wh-" I cut her off by my lips pressed to hers. She was probably frozen in suprise from the sudden contact, but soon enough, her lips were moving with mine. I lost all of my thoughts when she grabbed my head and deepend the kiss. It then caused me to wrap my arms around her waist.
After 5 minutes, we let go of each other, our foreheads touching. "You sure know your stuff princess." I said breathlessly.
"Well, what can I say? These romance books sure did help me." She said pointing towards the nightstand where a huge stack of books were held. I laughed.
All of a sudden she pushed herself off my lap.
"What's wrong?" I asked sincerley.
"I hope you're happy." She said not looking at me but at the door.
"What do you mean?" I asked watching the sad face of her's.
"Chase moved, and now you have nothing to worry about." She paused. "What were you gonna do anyway?"
"Acacia, I wasn't gonna do anything really. It was just a threat. No harm done. Besides, I didn't even know he left." Chase left? That was surprising.
"Ok, good." She said simply. She looked back at me. "You wanna stay for dinner?"
