You woke up pretty early one morning and you sat up and you were overwhelmed by a sick feeling. Suddenly you felt super nauseous and ran to the bathroom where you proceed to empty the contents of your stomach. You heard the footsteps of your boyfriend Geno, who plays hockey for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He bent down beside you and rubbed your back until you were done. You leaned back against him with tears in your eyes. "Baby no cry, I here, It's okay." He said trying his best to comfort you. He picked you up and carried you back to bed and went to find a thermometer. You broke out into a coughing fit and you felt like you were dying. Geno came back in and put the thermometer under your tongue. He brushed the sweaty hair out of your face as you waited for the beep. When it went off you took it out of your mouth and it read, 103.5. You groaned and curled into bed. "I call Sid, ask what to do." Geno said before leaving to call Sidney, who is also your brother.

When Geno came back your head was pounding and your stomach was in knots. "Sid talk to you." Geno handed you the phone. "Hello?" "Hey sis, Geno said your sick?" "I feel like I'm dying Sid." "What's wrong?" "My head feels like I'm being shot, my stomach is in knots, I'm getting the hot flashes I used to get and I don't wanna be sick." "Alright I know you don't like being sick. Did Geno take your temperature?" "Yeah it was 103.5." "Does it feel like when you got really sick last time?" That last time was when you ended up being diagnosed with cancer when you were 15. "No, this is a lot worse." "Then you need to go to the hospital, it could be back." "I don't want it to be back Sid." At that point you were in tears. "I know but you need you go and find out what's wrong it might not be back but you need to find out." "Okay." "Give to phone back to Geno please." You did as told and Sid explained everything to Geno whose face went from concerned to about 10 times more concerned. When he hung up you both got ready and went to the hospital.

Sid eventually showed up while you were being tested and he was pacing and running his hand through his hair which he always does when he's nervous. Geno was sitting in a chair and looked like he was ready to cry. You reached over and took Geno's hand in yours. You gave him a weak smile but he couldn't return it. The doctor walked in and we all turned attention to him. "Miss. Crosby we have the results and we are sorry to inform you but the cancer has come back." Geno got up and left. Tears started falling from your eyes. Sid looked a little teary eyed as well. "I'll be back shortly to talk." You nodded and the doctor left. "We can do it again. You'll be okay." Sid said trying to comfort you but you wanted nothing to do with it. Your brain was consumed by the thought of having cancer again, and you didn't know if you could do it again.
