"Matt!!" You yelled walking in the door after a long day at work. You went to the living room and you saw Matt asleep on the couch with your 4 month old daughter, Paige.

You took the opportunity and took a picture. She woke up so you carefully took her from Matt. "Hey princess, were you a good girl?" You kissed her head and placed her in the swing in the kitchen so you could watch her and make dinner for you and Matt. Paige was bouncing around making all kinds of noises which made you chuckle. Once you got dinner rolling you decided to give Paige her bottle so you heated it up making sure it wasn't too hot. You picked her up and she happily ate. Matt walked in rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Hey babe and baby." He said giving you a kiss and Paige and kiss. "How was your nap?" "Needed." "Hockey?" He nodded and sighed. "You can go back to sleep for about half an hour until dinner is ready." "No I'm fine. Here I can feed her." You carefully handed her to him and kissed his cheek. "Thanks babe." "Only for you." He sat down and fed and burped her while you finished cooking dinner. "How was work today?" "Same old same old. The kids weren't acting out so it went alright." You were an elementary school teacher so a lot of days you come home tired, stressed and with a pounding headache because 8 years olds aren't always the most pleasant. "That's good though, you have grading to do?" "Yeah." "How about I help you after dinner?" "Thank you Matt." "Anytime baby. Now let's eat." He put a sleeping Paige in her swing and you sat at the kitchen table to eat. It was the usual conversation of how each other's day went. You got your bag of school work and cuddled on the couch with Matt who helped you grade work. "Why do you give them so much if you have to grade it all?" "Because it helps me judge where they are and it helps them learn and evaluate their own skills on their own." He looked deep in thought. "You are amazing at your job." "Thank you so are you." Once all the papers were graded. You were half asleep and Matt carried you up to bed. "I love you baby, I'll be up soon." He kissed your head and you drifted into a much needed sleep
