 You were curled up in a ball in bed staring at the blank wall in front of you. You felt almost numb but there was nothing you could do to fix it. You had tried so hard to be happy but it's really not that simple, you can't just say I'm going to be happy today. You wish it were that simple but sadly it's not. You suffer from depression and somedays are good some are bad and you wish you could be "normal."

Jamie came in, hair damp from his shower after practice. "Jam can I ask you something?" You asked. "Yeah of course what's on your mind beautiful?" "Why do you put up with me? You could have anyone you want, yet you chose to be with me." "Because you aren't like other girls, you are beautiful, and wonderful, and yes some days aren't great but I'd rather help you and build a strong relationship than be with someone for their looks and not put in the effort. I love you and nothing will change that I promise." You nodded your head going through everything that he just said. "Beautiful, please don't think about it too much. I lose you in a place that I can't get you out of." "I'm sorry." You said quietly. "No no it's okay, I just don't want to see you like that again because I become helpless because their nothing I can do." You nodded and tried to shake his words from your brain.

"Do you want to come to the Team Charity gala tonight?" "I'd love too." "Go get ready beautiful." We kissed and then he left and you went to shower and get ready. After your shower you put on a robe and went to pick out your outfit. You went through all your dressed before deciding on a Maxi navy blue dress, that is one shoulder and has rhinestones all over the bust area. You went and did some smoky makeup and red lipstick. You straightened your hair and then lightly curled the bottom. "Hey baby we gotta go in like 5 minutes." "I'm almost done." You called back to him and slipped on your silver heels. and grabbed your silver hand bag. You went down stairs where Jamie waiting. He was wearing a nice tux but his tie his crooked, and his hair was gelled back loosely "Woah you look..." He looked at you and you got nervous about what he was going to say. "You look... absolutely incredible. You will be the most beautiful one there." You smiled, only Jamie had the ability to make you forget everything bad in your life. "Let's go beautiful." We kissed and went out to the Jamie's truck and drove to the banquet hall where the gala would take place. When you got there Jamie got out and ran around to get he door and help you out. "Why thank you kind sir." "You're welcome madame." We both laughed lightly and went inside. "The captain and his gorgeous girlfriend have arrived!" Tyler announced making you giggle. He came over and bro hugged Jamie. "You look stunning tonight." "Thank you Tyler, you clean up quite nicely." "Thank you." We walked around talking to people and there were a ton of girls there and you suddenly felt like you didn't look good enough, that Jamie would probably leave you from one of the. The overwhelming feeling of not being good enough fell over you again. "Jam, I'll be right back." "Alright." He was preoccupied talking to people so you walked away and stepped outside for some air.

You hadn't realized how long you had actually been outside for until someone said your name. "Hey, you okay?" Tyler asked. "Yeah, I'm fine I just needed some air." "You don't look okay, what's wrong?" "After seeing all the girls in there it made me realize that Jamie could have anyone yet he still chooses to be with me. I am nowhere near as pretty as any of them." "Jamie is with you because he loves you and not anyone else trust me he is head over heels for you. Plus, don't tell Jamie I said this but you are the most beautiful girl here tonight and I'm not just saying that." "Thank you." We hugged and went back in. I went over to Jamie who was having a conversation with Jordie trying to ignore the girl who was throwing herself at him. I went over. "You look wonderfully beautiful tonight." Jordie said. "Thank you." Jamie put an arm around we and kissed my forehead. He looked very fed up with the random girl on the over side. "Jamie baby, come on let's go have some fun." "How many times do I have to tell you to leave me alone, I have a girlfriend." "She won't know." "Yes she will." I said. "And you are?" "His girlfriend." She huffed and went away. "Thank you baby." He said. "You're welcome." After seeing him deny the girl made me realize how much he does love me and that he's not leaving anytime soon.
