Today was the day. You were going to walk down the aisle to your forever... and you couldn't be more excited. Your sister in law and mother had told you stories about being terrified to walk down the aisle but you weren't scared. You knew that Mat would be standing there waiting for you and you were going to live life together. You didn't think there was anything to be scared of because you loved each other and in the end that's all that matters.
You sat in the hotel room as everyone buzzed around you. You had your makeup done to look natural, you didn't want to do anything crazy. Your hair lay down your back loosely curled. Your best friend and maid of honor handed you the letter that Mat wrote for you. You had written one for him as well. You opened the envelope and unfolded the paper.

In a short time I will have the privilege of watching you walk down the aisle and I can't wait. Since high school you have been my everything and without you I'd be lost. You mean more to me than I can put into words. I am so excited for our next journey... together. We may have been told that getting married so young was crazy and that we should just live our lives, but I don't want to go through or live life without you by my side. I love you so much. I love you more than anything else. See you soon Mrs.. Barzal.

You smiled your whole way through the letter. You fell so hard for him and you love him more than anything. You put the letter down and stood up to get into your dress. All your bridesmaids and the flower girls were ready so the only thing left was you. Your mom unzipped the bag the held the dress and her and your maid of honor helped you into the beautiful gown. The top was a beautiful lace and the bottom was flowy and light. It was a big wedding. It was friends and family, no more than 60 or 70 people. So there was no need for a big elaborate dress, plus that's not your style anyway.

When you got to the venue, which was a beautiful little garden area. Your father helped you out of the car and you walked to the ceremony area. Mat stood at the end by the priest. When he looked over the smile on his face grew and you could feel the smile on your face grow as well. The music played softly as you walked down the aisle and your dad kissed your head before passing you over to Mat.
The ceremony went by in a blur until you said I do. The priest announced you as husband and wife and Mat leaned in for a kiss and you melted together as one. All your friends and family clapped and cheered. Mat pulled away from the kiss and you both had big smiles. It was the start of forever.
