Thanksgiving at your parents house is typical of an American thanksgiving. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and all the delicious other food. Tyler has already met your parents so the two of you went to your parents house around nine in the morning to help your mom and dad cook. Well you helped cook and Tyler hung out with your younger brother and sister.
"Hey you." Ty said wrapping his arms around you from behind as you make pies. "Hey handsome enjoying yourself?" "Always. When's the rest of your family coming?" "Around 2ish I think." "Lovely." "Hey don't be nervous they will love you because I do." "But what if they don't?" "Don't worry." I turned and gave him a kiss. "I love you." "I love you too. Now go relax." He kissed my cheek and went to sit with your brother again.

The pies were in the oven and the doorbell rang. "Can you get that sweetie?" Mom asked you. You wiped your hands on a towel and went to get the door. "Nana! Papa!" "Hey sweetheart, smells delicious in here." "Of course it's cause I'm cooking." They both chuckled and came in. "Ty c'mere!" You called and he came in the room. "Tyler these are my grandparents, Nana Papa this is my boyfriend Tyler." "Well Tyler I am certainly thankful to see you've been taking care of my granddaughter." "Of course sir." "Call me Ernie." Tyler chuckled as your papa hugged him and walked away with your nana. "Told you." "Was he drunk?" "Probably." You both laughed and went into the other room.

Eventually all your aunts, uncles and cousins showed up and you all sat around the table to eat. "Tyler what are you thankful for?" He thought about it for a second. "I am thankful to be here with you all. I'm thankful that I can go to work everyday and do what I love and to have an amazing girlfriend who is always there for me despite me not being home much." Everyone looked at you to respond. "I am thankful to have such an amazing family. And I am incredibly thankful to have Tyler in my life because I don't think anything had ever made me happier than he does." Everyone awed which made you chuckle.

When dessert time came Tyler got yours for you like a gentleman. He put it down in front of you and a ring sat on top of it. I looked at him and he was one knee. "Yes." He stood up and pulled you up and you kissed as everyone cheered. He took the ring out of the pie and wiped it off and put it on your finger. "I love you." "I love you so much."
