***Note: I don't believe that Jamie would ever be like this, it is fiction. Thanks****

You and Jamie have been on super rocky waters lately and it's really starting to get to you. It is like anything either of you do annoys, and aggravates the other. You really want to fix things but it always ends up in another fight.

You just got home from work. You work for the advertising and media department of Bauer in Dallas. When you walked in Jamie was sitting on the couch with a scowl on his face. "Jam, I'm home," You said preparing yourself for him to yell but he didn't say anything. You sighed and walked into the kitchen to make dinner. When it was done you went back to the living room and Jamie hasn't moved. "Jam? Dinner is done," you said. "I'm not hungry," He snapped. "I made your favorite though." "I'm not hungry! Go away!" He screamed and you bit your lip and went and got your own food. You ate alone at the dinner table scrolling through your phone. Jamie came in with a plate of food and sat across from you but didn't say anything. You put your phone away and finished eating quickly. The tension was obvious. The doorbell rang as you cleaned the dishes. "Ally get the door!" He yelled from the other room. You put the towel down and went and got the door. There stood Jordie and Tyler. "Hey guys come in, Jamie is in the other room." "You okay?" Jordie asked. "Fine don't worry." You went back to the kitchen and finished cleaning. "Ally!" Jamie yelled. "What?!" "Do we have beer?!" "No we don't have any left." "Why not?" "Because you had all the guys over the other day and you guys drank it all." You replied. "Why didn't you buy more?" You turned around to see him standing there. "Because I don't drink it and you know I don't like when you drink it so why would I buy it?" "Why should I listen to you? I can drink whatever I want!" "I never said you couldn't! I just said I don't like it." "If you don't like what I do then why are you still here?!" "Because I still want this! I love you Jamie but I guess the feeling's not mutual." You trailed off. "No it's not mutual. I should've left a long time ago. You are worthless to me! You are an ugly piece of trash and I want you gone!" You looked into his eyes with tears in your own. "I thought you were different. All you did was prove to me that all guys are the same. I finally felt like maybe, just maybe I had found a guy who I could be me, who loved and cared about me. I thought that maybe you were that guy. Did you ever really love me? Or were the last 4 years just lies?" "I don't love you." "Look me in the eye are say it." He looked you dead in the eyes, "I don't love you." "Alright then I'm gone." You went past him up to your room and packed a few bags. You decided to write a quick note for him though.

Dear Jamie,

I love you I really do. My heart broke to know that you don't love me back. I'm sorry for everything I've done. You aren't wrong about anything you've said about me. I guess maybe I just thought that you were that guy, the one I could spend forever with, the one who loved me back. I was wrong again, that seems to happen a lot more lately.

I fell for you, and I fell hard. You broke down the walls I put up. I told you things that I've never told anyone else. You made me feel like I could be happy, like nothing else in the world mattered. The last few weeks I felt like everything was falling apart because it was. Right now it has hit rock bottom and I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. Do me a favor and find someone you love. When you find that person love them with everything that you have a never let go. Don't treat them like you treated me because they don't deserve that. Be happy, and score some goals?

Love,

Ally

You left the note on his nightstand next to the picture of you guys after one of his games. He was still dressed in his uniform and you were sporting the captain's jersey. You both had huge smiles on your face and you couldn't help but think, What happened to us?
