It is Christmas Eve, which means a lot of family, a lot of food, and a lot of presents. You and your fiance Dylan have decided to have both your family come to Detroit for Christmas this year and your daughter, Emily was ecstatic to have everyone over. Right now you had Dylan cleaning up the house, you were cooking and Emily was playing in the living room and Dylan was keeping an eye on her since two year olds can cause a lot of trouble, that and Em somehow finds her way into everything. "Momma!!" She yelled and ran into the kitchen grabbing your leg. "What's up sweetpea?" "Brownie!! Hockey!" "You wanna make brownies for everyone?" "Hockey!" "Hockey brownies?!" You exclaimed picking up Emily who was nodding her head at the idea of hockey brownies. "You know what, I think daddy should help us what do you think?" "Yeah! Dada!!!" She screamed nearly blowing out your ear drum. "Babe! C'mere Em wants to ask you something." Dylan found his way to the kitchen and took Em out of your arms so you could mix the sauce for the lasagna you were having for dinner that night. "Momma, brownie, hockey!!" Em told him missing some words and throwing in some gibberish that no one could understand. "You want momma to make brownies?" "No!" Em yelled. "She wants to make hockey brownies and she wants her daddy to help us." "Hockey brownies?" "Yes dada!" "Let's make some brownies then princess." He kissed her head and put her on the counter while we got out all the ingredients we needed.

We decided to make the brownies in little circles so they were "puck shaped." Which made Em very happy and she said mumbling about hockey and it was funny but cute. Once they went in the oven, Em decided that she wanted to help make dinner as well so you sent Dylan back to cleaning. You had to assemble the lasagna so Em was helping by putting the noodles in the pan. Everytime she finished a layer she would clap which then meant you had to clap for her too.

The brownies finished so you took them out and put dinner in the oven. "Hey sweetpea why don't you go tell daddy it's time to decorate the brownies." You took her off the counter and she ran to go get Dylan. You could hear her yelling dada and then her giggles filled the house. You got some frosting out and took the brownies out of the pan. You set a few aside for Emily to do by herself and some for me and Dyl to do. Em found her way back on the counter top and Dylan kissed your temple as he turned some christmas music on over the stereo system that ran throughout the house. Em stood up and started dancing which Dylan recorded and you were laughing so hard it started to hurt. "Momma! Dada!" "Yes princess?" "It a puck!" She announced picking up a brownie. "It looks just like one doesn't it princess?" "Yeah!" "How about we decorate them now?" Let's just say more frosting ended up on Emily than on the brownies.
