Today is the day you are marrying the love of your life. You and Tom have been together for about 5 years however you guys had been best friends since forever. If someone told you 10 years ago that you would be marrying the love of your life, you would call them crazy. The idea had been such a foreign concept until the day Tom asked you out on a date and that's when you knew that life was working just the way it should've been.
The longer that you sat in the chair as people kept touching and fixing your hair and makeup the more anxious you started getting and the more you began to question whether or not you made the right decision. For the last three months you have been seriously stressed making sure that all the flowers were correct, the all the guys had their suits ready, and all your bridesmaids dresses were ready as well. And on top of that the Washington elimination in the playoffs added more pressure since Tom didn't seem to want anything to do with anything. "For the love of god please stop fidgeting." Your best friend yelled at you as she did your makeup again. "Sorry." You said in a whisper not wanting to piss anyone off. They all continued to fuss around. "Alright time to put on the dress." Your mom said zipping open the bag. She helped you into the gown and tied up the back. You looked at yourself in the mirror and you felt like an absolute princess.

Your mom's eyes filled with tears as she looked at you. "Your father would be so proud of you if he could see you right now." "He can mom he sees us, I hope he's proud." "I know he is. His daughter is getting married to an absolutely amazing man who loves his daughter for who she is." You nodded and watched the clock tick down and you started getting more and more nervous. Worrying about if you fall or if Michael forgot the rings or if Tom decides he doesn't want to marry you and leaves you at the alter. "Hey you ready?" You turned and saw your brother waiting to walk you down the aisle. "What if Tom leaves me there? What if he doesn't want to marry me after all?" "Snap out of it. Tom loves you more than the world okay? He has been waiting for this moment for years, he's not gonna leave you, not after everything you two have been through together. Now come on, you're getting married." You laughed as he took your hand and pulled you towards the door.
The music played softly as you and Tom danced slowly. It was in that moment that you knew you made the right decision and that you didn't have to worry about anything.
