Duncan Keith (Chicago Blackhawks)

You and Duncan have only been together for a few months but you couldn't be happier with your relationship. However he is 8 years older than you. You are 25 and he is 33. Your parents were not very happy when you told them about the relationship but when they actually met Duncan and his son Colton and saw how happy they make you and they changed their minds.

Duncan decided that he wanted you to meet the team which you agreed to since they are such a big part of his life and they mean a lot to him. However you are extremely scared since you are so much younger than Duncan you don't know how they are going to take it. Duncan keeps trying to reassure you that they will love you but you are having a hard time shaking the feeling that they won't.

You are going to a family skate with Duncan and Colton and since they have practice beforehand you are going to be bringing Colton. You got him dressed up in khakis and his Hawks Jersey and you had on skinny jeans with a Hawks sweatshirt. "We gonna see daddy?" Colt asked. "Yes we are cutie and we get to skate," "Yay!" "You have to eat your lunch first monster." "Okay." He happily ate his macaroni and cheese, getting it all over his face which made you chuckle. When he finished you cleaned off his face and helped him put on his shoes and you put your converse on.

Once you were at the rink, Colt was pretty much bouncing off the wall since he wanted to skate. "Calm down little monster." "Skate skate skate!" You couldn't help but laugh at his enthusiasm. "Daddy!" He screamed catching sight of Duncan who was walking over. "Hello Mister." He picked him up and you walked over and he gave you a kiss. "You ready?" "No." "They will love you because you make me and Colt happy so please don't worry. They don't care how old you are I promise." "Okay let's do this." You said taking a deep breath. He took your hand and went to the locker. He knocked. "Clear!" You guys walked in. "Duncs!" "This your girl?" "Yeah." "Nice to meet you guys. "You too, Duncs and Colt have told us a lot about you, it's nice to finally put a face to a name." In the end Duncan was right but he didn't need to know that but you were just happy that they liked you.
