Once upon a time: Ever After High in Wonderland (Book 2)

Ch.1 Child's play

Hello everyone, welcome to book 2 of the 'Once Upon a Time: Ever After High' series. I hope you guys are excited for this story where you'll meet new characters and travel down the rabbit hole to Wonderland where there's more fantasy, adventure, drama, and lots more. (10 years ago in Wonderland) Down in Wonderland, a land filled with odd sightings, Alice Liddell, the girl who had traveled to Wonderland when she was 7 ran through the Wonderland forest as if she was trying to escape something. Alice who was now 27 still looked like the same girl she was since she came to Wonderland. She still wears her signature blue dress, sometimes with an apron, black and white striped tights, her long flowly blonde hair was pulled back by a black headband, but instead of wearing Mary-Jane black shoes, she wore black ankle boots that made it easier for her to fun. And even though she was grown up, she was still her curious adventurous self.

Alice ran through the forest as fast as she could until she hid behind a tree. She peeked from behind and saw no one.

"Found you" a child voice giggled.

Alice turned around and saw her 6 year son Alistair looking at her with a smile on his face.

"You found me again" Alice smiled in her British accent.

"Now it's my turn to hide and you find me" he said.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but it's getting late so playtime's over".

"Aw" he pouted.

"Oh don't pout, when we get home you can help me bake some tarts, how would you like that?"

"Yay!" he exclaimed as Alice laughed.

"Well all right then, come along" she held out her hand as Alistair took it and they started through the woods.

Being a mother took a lot of responsibility, but Alice knew how to handle it while having fun with her son. Alistair was a lot like her, they both loved going on adventures and solving puzzles and riddles. Alice knew that later in the future, her son would be the next explorer and hero of Wonderland. And even though Alistair looked forward to it, Alice didn't want anything bad to happen to him. Her son is everything to her, and she will always do her best to keep him safe, especially from the Evil Queen who's still at large.

(Present day) In Storybrooke Maine, a secret little town where some fairytale characters and mostly children of fairytale characters are in the real world due to a curse that was cast by the Evil Queen. The curse had erased everyone's memories about who they really are, but thanks to Elena Jensen, who is really Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen, she was able to break the curse with true love's kiss. But even though she broke the curse and brought back everyone's memories, there's still a problem, no one can get out of Storybrooke.

It was the day after the curse was broken, and everyone had gather at Town Hall with Elena and Brooke on the stage.

"Attention everyone" she said, but everyone just kept talking "Um, hello?"

Everyone just ignored her.

"I've got this" Lauren told Elena as she faced the crowd "EVERYONE SHUT UP!"

Everyone got quiet and looked at Lauren with a surprised look.

"Thank you Lauren" Elena said as Lauren got off the stage "All right, now you all know why we're here, yesterday the curse was finally broken".

Everyone cheered.

"Yeah I know it's great that we all have our memories back, but we're still in Storybrooke, and I don't know if we can get out of here".

"So why don't we try?" Reyna asked.

"What?"

"Why don't we send someone to go to the 'Welcome to Storybrooke' sign and see if it's possible to cross it?"

"Uh" Elena said with a worried look "I'm not so sure about that, I mean what if something bad happens to that person?"

"Well we wont know unless we try" Natalie spoke up.

Elena turned to Brooke.

"Should we try it?" she asked.

"Well" Brooke said with a nervous "No one has ever gone out of Storybrooke before".

"You know what?" Aidan spoke up "I'll do it".

"What?" Elena and Brooke said.

"I'll go see if it's possible to cross by the sign".

"But Aidan" Elena said "What if something bad happens?"

"I have to take this chance, we wont know unless someone does it".

"Well if you're going I'm coming with you" Terrence said "So if anything bad does happen, I'll be there to help".

"Hold on" Elena said "If you guys are going, I'm going, you may need some extra help".

"I'll come too" Brooke put in.

"Well ok then" Aidan said.

"All right" Elena said "It's settled, all 4 of us will see if it's possible to cross by the sign".

"But what if it's not possible to cross it?" Olivia asked.

"Then we'll have to find another way to get out of Storybrooke, and hopefully there is a way".

So after the meeting, Elena along with Aidan, Terrence, and Brooke went to the 'Welcome to Storybrooke' sign. Elena used a spray paint can and spray painted a line on the road separating them from the other side of the sign.

"Ok" she said as she turned to Aidan "Are you sure you want to do this?"

"When you're a Charming, you gotta take risk" Aidan said.

With everyone's memories back, Aidan remembers that he's actually Daring Charming, son of King Charming. While his brother Terrence was actually Dexter Charming, who is not that heroic as Daring.

"Well then go ahead" Elena said as Aidan stood in front of the line.

He took a deep breath, knowing that if he crossed the line, something bad might happen, but he had to take that risk.

"Here I go" he said.

But when he started to go pass the line, he felt a shock that struck everyone's ear as he gave a cry in pain as he fell to the ground. Everyone helped him up with a shocked look.

"Aidan are you ok?" Elena asked with a worried look.

"Not really" he said as he looked at his fingers and saw burnt marks "Looks like we still can't pass the sign".

"Well at least it didn't do anything worse" Terrence said "I mean, you still have your memories right?"

"Yeah they're still there".

"So we still can't leave Storybrooke" Brooke concluded.

"Then it looks like we're gonna have to find another way" Elena said "No matter how long it takes".
