Ch.5 Kate

In Wonderland, a white rabbit with green eyes and a little black top hat on her head hopped through Wonderland in search for her friends, soon she spotted them walking around the field as she hopped towards them and poofed into her human form. In her human form she was short white hair with rabbit ears and the same top hat on her head.

"Hey Bunny" they all said.

"Hey" Bunny smiled as she joined them "So Alistair, I heard what happened today at the queen's castle".

"Yeah" he smirked.

"So how did it happen?" Maddie asked.

"Yeah" Lizzie said "You know it's against the rules to trespass on our land without permission".

"Well this time it was an accident" Alistair said "I left my compass in the croquet field yesterday, and today I decided to get it, I tried to ask but the queen was too busy and I was afraid that my compass would get stolen, so I climbed a tree that hung over the croquet field to get it. I then hung upside down over my compass and reached down and got it, but once I got it, I slipped off the tree and fell on the ground. And apparently the queen saw me and ordered her guards after me".

The girls started to laugh.

"Really?" he smirked.

"So where's your compass?" Bunny asked.

"Right here" he reached into his pocket and pulled out his golden compass.

"Is it cracked?" Kitty asked.

"Nope, it's good".

"Well then" Maddie said "What do you guys wanna do now?"

"Hatter's tea shop?" Lizzie suggested as everyone agreed and started walking.

As they walked, Alistair looked at his compass. Every time he looked at it, it reminded him of his mother, who gave it to him before she disappeared.

In his cell, Brenden laid on his bed and tried to sleep, but all he could think about was Wonderland, his friends, and his mother. He thought about the fun times he and his friends had in Wonderland, but now that he doesn't know where they are, he might never see them again. But his thoughts came to a stop when he heard something in the halls, he opened his eyes and looked out the door window into the hallway, but he saw nothing, so he laid back down. But then he heard the door unlock and open.

"I need some time to sleep-" he began to say, but he stopped when he saw the person in front of him.

It was girl who looked a bit older with her blonde hair up in a bun.

"Um, who are you?" he asked.

"I'm Kate" she said "And I'm here to get you out".

"What?"

"I'm getting you out of here and back to Wonderland".

"Wonderland?" Brenden gasped.

"Yes, I know how to get there, now come on".

"I can't" he said "I'm not going anywhere, especially with someone I don't even know".

Kate then crossed her arms.

"You really don't remember who I am do you?" she asked with a smirk.

"I don't want to remember" he said with confidence.

"There she is!" some of the workers from behind came up to Kate and grabbed her as the doctor went to Brenden and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Brenden what's going on?" he asked.

"I was trying to get some sleep and then she came in" Brenden said as Kate struggled to get the workers off her.

"I'm just trying to help him" Kate put in.

"I don't need your help" Brenden said.

"Remember Brenden" Kate said as she continued to struggle with the workers "Remember Wonderland".

"I don't want to remember I want to forget!" he scowled.

"Get her out of here!" the doctor ordered as they pulled Kate away.

"She's alive!" she suddenly shouted which caught Brenden's attention "Your mother's alive and she's in Wonderland!"

"What?" he gasped.

"It's true, in fact, I know where she is!"

"Get her out of here!" the doctor ordered again as they pulled Kate away.

But Brenden then got up and punched the doctor in the face and slammed him against the wall. He then went up to the workers and started to fight them as Kate watched with amusement. After Brenden managed to knock out one of the workers, the other one pulled out a syringe needle and came behind Brenden, but Brenden quickly quickly grabbed the worker's wrist and twisted it back as he used his knee to jab it into the worker's crotch and twisted his wrist to that the needle would inject his stomach and Brenden slammed him into the wall.

"Wow" Kate said impressed "Where did you learn those moves?"

"I taught myself" he said "Now how do we get to Wonderland?"

"This way" Kate said said as Brenden followed her out of the asylum without getting caught.

They both went through the lit up streets and entered a dark alley where they came upon a brick wall.

"Now what?" Brenden asked.

"This is what" Kate said as she pulled out an odd looking playing card and swiped it over the wall as a large purple tunnel appeared in the wall.

"Ready to go to Wonderland?" Kate asked with a grin.

"Yeah" he said as he felt excited to finally go back to Wonderland.

"Well here we go".

They then jumped into the hole and down they went. The rabbit hole was filled with many odd things just like how Alice described it. And as they went down, Brenden looked down and saw that his clothes were changing. His shirt now had a map design, his pants turned brown and were tucked into some brown boots, he was given a necklace and a blue trench coat with different patterns appeared on him. But as he admired the change, Brenden didn't see what was under him as he bounced on a bed and he went towards a different hole.

"Brenden!" Kate shouted.

But he had already fallen down the other hole.
