Once upon a time: Ever After High in Wonderland (Book 2)

Ch.6 The Wild card

Brenden fell down the other hole wondering where he would end up. And after a few more seconds of falling, he fell out of the hole and began rolling down a grassy hill. After he stopped rolling, he got up and brushed the grass off his new clothes. He then looked around at where he was. He was now in an odd but beautiful place where there's giant mushrooms, grass in different colors, trees were in different sizes and colors, large flowers bloomed around, there were even butterflies made out of bread and butter that flew over his head.

"Curiouser and Curiouser" he said with a smile.

He finally knew where he was, Wonderland. And he remembered who he really is, Alistair Wonderland.

The next morning, Brooke, Elena, Lauren, Ilene, Amanda, and Christina headed to the hospital.

"I got a bad feeling about this" Christina said with a nervous look "What if he doesn't remember anything?"

"I"m sure he remembers" Brooke said "Everyone on Storybrooke has their memories back".

Once inside the hospital, Brooke led them to a door that showed them stairs leading down, they went down that stairs and into the asylum.

"Um, excuse me" Brooke said to the desk clerk "We're here to see Brenden Lawrence".

"Brenden Lawrence?" the clerk said.

"Yeah".

"Well I'm sorry to tell you this ladies, but Mr. Lawrence escaped last night with some girl".

"What?" the girls gasped.

"Wait" Christina said "What girl?"

"Some girl with blonde hair, I didn't really get a good description".

"Well who can that be?" Amanda wondered.

"Um, what cell did he stay in?" Brooke asked.

"Cell 4".

"May we see it real quick?"

"5 minutes".

"Thank you" Brooke said as they went to cell 4 where Brenden stayed.

"Wow" Ilene said as they looked inside the cell "It must of sucked living in here".

"I know" Amanda agreed "I can imagine how bad it must of been to poor Alistair, I can see why he was put in here, everyone thinking he's mad cause his mother was and all. And that's not fair, I mean, we're all mad here".

Lauren then gave a sigh "So what are we gonna do now?"

"We're gonna find out who this girl is and where they went" Christina said.

"But how are we gonna do that?" Elena asked "All we got is that she's blonde, she could be anyone".

Ilene then looked down and spotted an odd looking playing card on the floor, she picked it up and saw that the card had a joker on it juggling some balls. When she saw the joker, she knew who the girl was.

"Oh my God" she gasped.

"What?" the girls asked.

"I think I know who the girl is".

"Who?"

"Courtly Jester" she said with a frown.

On another side of Wonderland, another portal opened and out came Kate who was now in her normal joker look. She looked around and saw that Alistair was no where to be seen.

"Bloody hell!" she hissed as she pulled out another of her cards.

She swiped the card in front of her and an image of a man wearing a black cloak appeared in front of her.

"Sir" she said.

"Ms. Jester" the man said "Do you have Mr. Wonderland?"

"Actually" she said with a nervous look "When we were falling down the rabbit hole, he went down a different hole and now he's somewhere in Wonderland".

"You lost him?!" the man yelled.

"But I'm gonna find him".

"You better find him" he ordered "And bring him to be alive".

"Yes sir" Courtly said as the image faded away "Now how am I gonna find that twit?"

Now in Wonderland, Alistair walked around and admired the place. As he walked down a trail of giant playing cards, he saw that a club symbol had closed eyes, he looked closer and lightly touched it which made it's eyes open and it flew off the card along with some other card symbols and they flew around him as he gave a small laugh. As he continued exploring, he saw a dragonfly that blew out fire, a rocking-horsefly on a giant toadstool, and butterflies flying around. Alistair was glad he was back in Wonderland, but he still didn't know where to find his mother and friends. Now that Kate was somewhere else, he knew he was on his own. But then he remembered the residents of Wonderland, he figured that maybe they can help him, he decided that maybe the Hatter will help since he was a fine ally of Alice, but he didn't remember where to find him since he didn't know where he was.

"Wait a minute" he said getting an idea "My compass!"

He looked at his satchel where his compass usually was, only to discover that it wasn't there. He then remembered that he left his compass at Bunny's house before he went to Ever After High.

"Dammit" he said with disappointment.

Now he knew he was really lost. But as he walked he spotted a trail that he didn't remember seeing in Wonderland, curious, he thought that he could find some help on this trail.

"Hope there's help down here" he said as he headed down the trail.

But as he went down the trail, he didn't notice a sign that had been covered up by a purple tumbleweed. Just then some wind brushed the tumbleweed away revealing the sign that read: Bandersnatch Blvd.
