Ch.20 Reunited

The next morning, Alistair, Chase, and Darling continued their journey with Darling riding Chase's horse while the boys walked beside her.

"Is that moonstone glowing yet?" Darling asked Alistair.

"No" he sighed with disappointment.

"Are sure that thing even works?" Chase asked.

"I don't know" Alistair sighed "I'm just hoping for the best".

After a while of some boring walked, Chase spoke up.

"You guys wanna stop?" he asked.

"Yeah sure" they said as they stopped.

Darling got off the horse as Chase gave it some food and water. Alistair sat on the grass with a sad look as Darling went to him.

"You ok?" she asked as she sat next to him.

"Not really" he sighed.

"Hey" Darling put her hand on his shoulder "We'll find her, and we'll find your friends".

"I just don't think I can wait any longer".

Darling rubbed his back as he laid his chin on his hand.

The girls head off from the tea shop and continued their search with Bunny examining the compass.

"Hey Lizzie" Maddie said as they walked "So last light when we were watching the video, why did you hug Alistair for a long time?"

"Oh" Lizzie said as she tried to hide her embarrassment "I uh, it's just, he smelled really nice. I think he had on some cologne that smelled really good".

"Oh right he think he did had some cologne on him".

"Yeah he smelled like roses" Lizzie smiled "And you know that scent is my favorite".

"Right. So Bunny" Maddie said as she went up to Bunny who was still looking at the compass "So are we still going north?"

"According to the compass we are" Bunny said.

"Does anyone even know where we are?" Kitty asked.

"Not really" Bunny said as she looked around "I'm following what this compass does".

"Whoa what's going on?" Maddie pointed to the compass with a surprised look.

The girls looked at the compass and saw that the arrow was spinning out of control.

"What in the world?" Bunny said confused.

All of a sudden the compass started to pull Bunny as if it was trying to escape her hand.

"What's going on?" Lizzie asked surprised.

"It's pulling me!" Bunny exclaimed as the compass pulled her as she tried to pull it back but it was too strong for her.

Bunny then had to go along with the compass as the girls followed.

"Where is it trying to go?" Kitty asked as they followed Bunny.

Alistair leaned against a tree as Darling and Chase went up to him.

"Still thinking about them?" Chase asked.

"Yeah" Alistair sighed.

"Do you really think they're here in Wonderland?"

"I don't know Chase, for all I know they could still be in Storybrooke. I just wish they were here right now".

The girls continued to follow Bunny who was being pulled by the compass like a magnet as they reached an empty field. All of a sudden the compass stopped.

"Huh?" they all said confused.

"Why did it stopped here?" Maddie wondered.

"Is something gonna happen?" Kitty asked.

"Well we should get going" Chase suggested as he and Darling headed to the horse.

But Alistair then noticed something behind the tree branches. He moved the branches away and couldn't believe his eyes when he saw what appeared to be the girls on the field!

"Girls?" he gasped in a whisper.

"Alistair come on" Darling said.

"Girls!" he called with a smile as he ran towards them.

"Huh?" the girls said as they turned to see Alistair running towards them from the trees.

"Girls!" he called.

The girls couldn't believe it.

"Alistair!" they exclaimed as they ran to him.

Kitty teleported ahead and was the first to reach him. She threw her arms around him and jumped on him as he hugged her and spun her around as they laughed. He then put her down and they stopped hugging.

"Alistair!" Maddie smiled.

"Maddie!" he exclaimed as they hugged.

"Lizzie!" he smiled as they hugged.

After he hugged Lizzie, Alistair spotted Bunny,

"Bunny?" he gasped.

"Alistair" she said with a small smile.

The two looked at each other full of surprise. They then threw their arms around each other and into a big hug. It felt so good being in each others arms again, and Bunny almost shed a tear. And after the hug, they couldn't stop smiling.

"I thought I'd never see you girls again" Alistair said.

"How did you find us?" Maddie asked.

"I just looked into the field and saw you guys".

"Wait a minute" Bunny as she looked at the compass "This compass can lead us to amazing discoveries".

"Wait is that my compass?" Alistair gasped.

"Yeah" Bunny smiled "You left it at my house when you went to Ever After, I guess this compass brought us to you. And I've wanting to give it back to you".

She gave Alistair his compass and he took it and examined it. The compass didn't seem to be scratched, it was just like how his mother had given it to him. He now had his prized possession back.

"Thanks" he smiled at Bunny.

He then turned to the girls and saw that Lizzie's eyes were watering.

"Lizzie are you crying?" he asked.

"I promised myself I wouldn't cry if we found you" she sniffed "But it looks like I'm gonna have to break that promise".

"Oh great now you're making me cry" Bunny said as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Same" Maddie and Kitty sniffed as tears came out.

"Aw girls" Alistair smiled as he opened his arms "Come here".

The girls all hugged him as they burst into tears of joy.

"I missed you all" he said as he too felt his eyes water.

After all that time of being separated, the Wonderlandians were finally reunited with each other. And as they all hugged, neither of them wanted to let go of this wonderlandiful moment.
