Ch.13 Cat's help

(Flashback)Courtly looked at the odd looking playing card as she walked around Wonderland and wondered where to use it.

"Should I just swipe it right now?" she asked herself "And should I come up with a fake name so Alistair wont know who I am? What's a good name to use?"

She then started to think of a fake name.

"Kate" she concluded "Yeah, it's short and simple, and it's easy to remember".

But then, since she wasn't paying attention, she tripped over a log and the card flew out of her hand and into a flowing river.

"No no no!" she gasped as she ran after the card as it floated down the river.

But when she looked ahead, she was shocked to see that the card was about to go over a waterfall! She panicked as she tried to find a way to get the card, but it was then too late cause the card had fallen down the waterfall.

"No!" Courtly gasped as she looked over the waterfall, the card was gone.

She ran down the hill to find the card stuck between some rocks, and when she pulled it out the card was all damaged. She started to panic some more, what would the Jabberwock say? What would he do? Just then, when she thought things couldn't get worse, her card phone rang. She answered it and had a mini heart attack when she saw that the caller was the Jabberwock.

"Ms. Jester" he said "Have you got any trace of Mr. Wonderland?"

"Um" she said nervously "I uh-".

"You haven't even started have you?" he cut in with a frown.

"No" she admitted.

"Well do you still have the card?"

Courtly's mini heart attack just increased.

"Um" she said nervously "I do have the card, but um-".

"It's destroyed isn't it?" he cut in again with a frown.

"Maybe a little" she said with a scared look.

"Ms. Jester, come to my castle, now" he ordered as he hung up.

"I am so dead" Courtly sighed as she went to the castle and walked in.

"Where's the card?" the Jabberwock asked.

Courtly nervously pulled out the card. The Jabberwock used his magic to pull the card for her hand to his.

"Well it's broken all right" he said as he examined the card.

"Can it be fixed?" Courtly asked nervously.

"Oh I can fix it, but just this once, right now, I wanna show you what will happen if this ever happens again".

And with that he used his powers to make Courtly's head stay still with one hand, and with his other hand he raised up an axe and flung it towards her. Courtly closed her eyes as the axe sliced her head off and her body fell to the floor. But she didn't feel any pain as she opened her eyes and saw her served body on the floor. She then noticed that the Jabberwock was using his powers to hold her head up.

"What the?!" she gasped "Oh my God! How am I still alive?!"

"Consider this as a warning" the Jabberwock said "Next time this happens, it will be far worse, same thing if you don't bring me Mr. Wonderland".

He then reattached her head to her body as she toppled over while clutching her neck. The Jabberwock then used his powers to fix the card and handed it to Courtly.
