Bunny looked at Alistair's compass as the girls continued walking. She admired the details and wondered how Alistair will react when she gives him back his compass, if they find him.
"I see smoke!" Lizzie pointed up to a trail of smoke.
"We must be near the Caterpillar" Maddie concluded as they followed the smoke trail.
Soon they came upon the Caterpillar who was still smoking his hookah on the giant mushroom.
"Caterpillar" the girls gasped as they ran up to him.
"Who are you?" Caterpillar asked as he blew smoke into their faces.
"It's us" Bunny said as they coughed as waved the smoke out of their faces.
"Of course" Caterpillar "You girls are back".
"Caterpillar" Lizzie said "Was Alistair here".
"He was, and he was with Ms. Charming".
"Well where did they go?" Kitty asked.
"They went to the Tumtum tree to get the Vorpal Sword".
"What for?" Lizzie asked.
"There's a lot of danger in Wonderland, and a hero must be prepared, but he's probably gotten the sword by now and they're probably somewhere else".
"Is there a way we can find him?" Bunny asked "And quickly".
"I'm sorry girls, but I'm afraid I have nothing that can help you".
The girls gave a sigh.
"Well then Mr. Caterpillar" Maddie said "Did he mention anything about looking for his mother and a girl name Kate?"
"Well he did talk about Kate, but I've never heard of a Kate here".
"Well she's really Courtly Jester".
"Ms. Jester?"
"Yeah" Kitty said "And we overheard saying that she's looking for him so that she could bring him to this mysterious man who wants to rip Alistair's heart out and crush it!"
"Oh dear".
"That's why we have to find him quick before Courtly does" Bunny said.
"But we still don't know where he is" Maddie put in with a worried look.
"Well he went this way" Caterpillar pointed in the direction Alistair and Darling went "And again they went to the Tumtum tree, they're probably gone now, but you girls just might be able to find them".
"Thank you Caterpillar" Bunny said.
"Hold on" Kitty said "What about Alice, we know she's alive and in Wonderland, so do you know where she is".
"Sadly no" Caterpillar said "But Alistair has something that will help him find her".
"Well, thanks anyway Mr. Caterpillar" Bunny said as they went down the direction

The sun started to set as Alistair and Darling rode Chase's horse with Chase walking next to them.
"So is that moonstone glowing yet?" Darling asked Alistair.
"Nope" he said with disappointment.
"Well we gotta find a place to stay" Chase said.
"We can stay at the White Queen's castle" Darling suggested "Sometimes I stay there whenever I'm on duty".
"Even if the White Queen isn't there?" Alistair asked.
"Yeah, since I'm the White Knight, I can go in whenever I want".
"Well all right then" Chase said as they headed off to find the White Queen's castle.
But after a few minutes Darling had to stop.
"Wait a minute" she said as Chase stopped "I have to do something".
"Let me guess" Alistair said "You have to go?"
"Maybe".
"Hurry up" Chase sighed as Darling got off the horse and went away.
After making sure she was gone, Chase asked Alistair: "Hey do you know if Darling is into dating right now?"
"I don't know" Alistair asked "Why you ask?"
"Oh, no reason".
"Wait a minute" Alistair grinned "You like her don't you?"
"What?" Chase said, hiding his guilt with a smile "No I don't, I mean, I like her, but not what you're thinking".
"Mm hm" Alistair doubt.
"I told you, I like her as a friend".
"I can tell that you're lying, you do like her".
"Ok look, she's pretty and all, I mean, she's King Charming's daughter, what do you expect?"
"Yeah I know that almost every guy falls for her, but you, I see something different".
"What do you mean?"
"Well most guys would express their love to Darling and it annoys her".
"Tell me about it" Chase agreed "The poor girl just needs her freedom".
"Any way, you and Darling are really close, and she's never been this close to a guy before, well besides me. You're one of her closest friends, you and her have lots of things in common, you both like a challenge, you're both knights, and you want love freedom".
"What makes you think I want freedom? I'm perfectly happy with my life now?"
"Oh really?" Alistair doubt "Aren't there times when you just wanna kick back and relax and hang out with friends, and maybe go on a date and not having your mother order you to do things every single day?"
Chase thought about it.
"Yeah you gotta point there" he said.
"But the thing is Chase, if you really like Darling, tell her, ask her out, she may feel the same way too".
"But-".
But before Chase could continue, Darling came back.
"Ok I'm ready" she said.
"Um, ok" Chase said.
Darling got on the horse and they rode off again. Soon they made it to the White Queen's castle. She rode until they reached the gates.
"Ok" Darling said as she got off the horse "I'll get us in".
She went to the gate and pulled out a key from her purse and unlocked the gate. Alistair got off the horse and he and Chase followed her in. After Darling talked to some guards, Alistair and Chase followed her into a royalty room where they sat on the bed.
"So are you sure your mother is in Wonderland?" Chase asked Alistair.
"Well Caterpillar also said she was here" Alistair said "So she must be here".
"So what happened to her again? Why did she disappear?"
"Yeah Alistair" Darling agreed "I never knew the whole story, like I wanna know why your last name is Wonderland and not Liddell".
"Well" Alistair said "It's a really long story".
"We don't mind".
"Well I haven't told this story in a long time, but I might as well do it".
