Ch.22 Joker's problem

"So how long have you been in the asylum?" Lizzie asked Alistair as everyone continued walking.

"Since the Queen's curse" he said.

"How was it like?" Maddie asked.

"Awful, I was treated poorly, the food was disgusting, and every once in a while I would get these nightmares and I'd wake up screaming".

"Oh my gosh" the girls gasped.

"You poor thing" Kitty said sadly.

"Well it's a good thing you're with us now" Bunny said.

"So is that the Vorpal Sword?" Maddie pointed to the sword that was hanging on Alistair's belt.

"Oh, yeah it is" he said.

"Have you used it yet?"

"Well I've practiced a bit with Darling".

"I beat him" Darling said proudly.

"Well that's just because I need more practice" Alistair said.

"Hey if you want you can practice with me" Chase offered "And I will promise I'll go easy on you".

"Thanks".

"So how was it like in Storybrooke?" Darling asked the Wonderland girls.

"Well" Maddie said "We all went by a different name, like I was Lauren, Kitty was Amanda, and Lizzie was Ilene. And we just lived our lives like normal people, except we didn't remember who we really were".

"So you guys lost your memories?"

"Yeah" Kitty said "But thanks to Raven, she brought us back our memories".

"So were you guys like different in Storybrooke compared to who you are now?"

"Well Maddie was still her bubbly self" Lizzie said with a smile "And she also works at a diner owned by her dad".

"Oh so the Hatter has another little tea shop".

"Yep. And Kitty was still the same, always grinning and disappearing. Although she didn't pull that much pranks".

"Yeah" Kitty sighed "Well Lizzie was a whore in Storybrooke".

"Hey!" Lizzie yelled.

"You were a whore?" Bunny said "Why?"

"Well first of all she dressed like a slut".

"Well that's true" Lizzie admitted.

"And second of all, she had a secret relationship with Daring when he was dating Apple".

"What the?" Alistair and Bunny said.

"Wait" Darling said "Daring cheated on Apple with Lizzie?"

"Yep".

"Lizzie" Darling said "You let him do that with you?"

"I wasn't the best person" Lizzie sighed.

"And when Apple found out things were not pretty" Kitty grinned.

"We all called it a quits" Lizzie put in "And Daring and I both felt terrible".

"But not only that" Kitty added "You would not believe what Lizzie and Daring did".

"Kitty..." Lizzie gave a warning look.

"What? It's over now. Anyway, she and Daring slept together".

"What?!" they all gasped.

"I know, crazy right?"

Darling turned to Lizzie.

"You slept with my brother?" she asked.

"I know" Lizzie groaned "I'm a slut, but we didn't have sex though".

"But still" Alistair said with disgust.

"Hey I'm trying to become a better person".

"If you say so" Bunny said with a little shrug.

As they all continued walking, Courtly peeked from behind some trees and watched them go by.

"Now how am I gonna get them all?" she asked herself.

But as she took a step to the side, she suddenly felt herself slip and she slid down a hill.

"Did you guys hear that?" Chase asked.

"Hear what?" everyone asked.

"I could of sworn I've heard something".

He looked around but saw nothing.

"Oh well" he shrugged.

Courtly slid down the slippery hill and she tried to grab onto something to hold her back, but everything she tried to grab just slipped out of her hands. Her slipping then came to a stop when she landed in a pile of mud. She gave an angry growl as she got up all covered in mud.

"Bloody hell!" she hissed as she started to wipe the mud off.

Not only was she pissed that she was covered in mud, but she had lost sight of the Wonderlandians.

(Flashback) Tossing a ball in the air as she went, Courtly walked around Wonderland in search of something to do. Now since she wasn't allowed back at Wonderland High, she had to find something else to do with her life. She then tossed the ball into the air, did a cartwheel, and caught the ball. Maybe she'll join a circus, that is if they would allow her especially since she tried to overthrow the Queen of Hearts and take her place to rule Wonderland.

All of a sudden she heard some horses screeching, she turned and saw the Queen of Hearts card guards on their horses riding towards her direction. She quickly hid behind some bushes and the guards stopped their horses.

"Where do you think that joker could be?" a guard asked.

"Let's try the Wonderland Library" another guard suggested as they all rode off.

Courtly came out from hiding.

"So they're looking to me eh?" she asked herself "Well I'm not letting them find me".

She then headed the other direction making sure the guards didn't see her. After a while of walking, a dragonfly started fly around her.

"Get away!" she hissed as she waved her hand around, but the dragonfly didn't go away.

She tried to shoo the odd bug away but instead it blew out a ball of fire towards her, but she quickly ducked as the fire shot above her head.

"Oh that's it!" she yelled as she threw her ball at the dragonfly, but it missed as it bounced off a tree and zoomed passed her head.

The ball then bounced off another tree, then onto another tree, and then it zoomed towards Bunny who was near the Well of Wonder as it hit the back of her head causing her to toppled forward and down the well. Courtly gave a gasp as she ran to the well and looked down, but all she saw was darkness.

"Oh no" she said with a worried look.

She had sent Bunny down the Well of Wonder, but it wasn't technically her fault right? It should be that stupid dragonfly. She looked down the well again, wondering where Bunny would end up.
