Ch.27 Love talk

Everyone's jaws dropped after watching Lizzie kick Courtly through the window.

"Wow" they all said with shock.

Lizzie looked out the window expecting to see Courtly laying on the ground, but instead she wasn't there.

"She's gone" Lizzie told everyone.

"Well hopefully she'll be gone for now" Bunny said.

"Alistair are you ok?" Lizzie asked.

"Yeah I'm fine" he said.

"Kitty are you ok?" Maddie asked "That was some cat fight".

"I'm fine" Kitty said as she rubbed her head "Although she pulled my hair really hard".

"And she tried to throw that bladed card at you" Chase pointed to the bladed card that was still stuck in the wall.

"Yeah, although that was pretty cool, I want those bladed cards".

"How did she get in here though?" Darling wondered.

"I don't know" Alistair said "She just came out of the closet and surprised me".

"Well I don't think she'll be back tonight, but just in case, I'm having all of the guards guard every entrance".

"And uh, can I get a new room?" Alistair asked, mentioning the broke glass that's all over the floor.

So Lizzie took Alistair to another room.

"Ok I think this will work" she said "And uh-".

She started to look around to Courtly and any trap doors to how she got in.

"Yeah it's clear" she concluded.

"Thanks" Alistair smiled as he went to the bay window and sat down and looked out into Wonderland.

"So uh" Lizzie walked up to him "Do you like need anything?"

"No I'm good".

Lizzie felt herself getting nervous, remembering that Chase told her to tell Alistair about her feelings.

"So..." she said nervously.

"Are you feeling ok?" Alistair asked.

"Oh I'm fine" she lied.

"You sure? You seem like you have something on your mind".

Lizzie gave a sigh. But then she got an idea.

"All right" she said as she sat next to him on the bay window "So um, there's this guy I like, and uh, I've been crushing on him for like, forever after. But when the curse happened, I forgot about my feelings for him, but now that the curse is broken and I have my memories back, the old feelings are coming back. But the thing is, he likes another girl".

"Oh" Alistair said.

"Yeah" she sighed "And I don't know if I should tell him how I feel or not cause he's been crushing on the other girl for also forever after, and uh, I just don't know what to do".

"Well, if I were you, I'd tell him how you feel. And even though he may like someone else, it's best to tell him so that you can get it out of your head. And who knows, he might change his mind or something".

Lizzie gave a smile.

"Well, all right then" she said "I might tell him soon when I'm ready".

"Hey if you ever need anything you can always tell me".

"Ok" she smiled.

"So, you're cool?" he smiled.
